Fax info@vinicolaserena.com Vinicola Serena: una ventata di novità Vinicola Serena ha partecipato dall 8 al 12 Aprile al Vinitaly di Verona, grande rassegna internazionale del vino. Un occasione importante per presentare i nostri vini in bottiglia rinnovati nella veste e soprattutto il nuovo Prosecco DOCG, che ha raccolto molti consensi. L impegno dell Azienda è concentrato prevalentemente a soddisfare la crescente domanda di vini spumanti e frizzanti trainata dal Prosecco, vitigno tipico e rappresentativo della nostra zona geografica, ormai conosciuto non solo in Europa ma anche nel nuovo Continente e nel resto del Mondo. A tal fine nel biennio abbiamo sostenuto importanti investimenti acquistando autoclavi per la fermentazione dei vini e sostituendo l impianto di imbottigliamento con macchinari più adatti alla produzione di spumanti e dalle prestazioni più elevate. A conferma di ciò possiamo riportare un dato molto significativo per la nostra Azienda: nei primi 4 mesi dell anno in corso il fatturato dei vini in bottiglia ha superato quello dei vini in fusto. Un settore, quest ultimo, che da molti anni ci riconosce leader di mercato. Gerardo e Giorgio Serena Vinicola Serena: a wave of novelties Vinicola Serena took part in the Vinitaly fair in Verona, a huge international wine review from April 8 th to 12 th. This is an important moment in which to present our wines in their renewed bottles and in particular the new Prosecco DOCG, which received much praise. Our winery s commitment is mainly concentrated on satisfying the growing demand for sparkling wines and spumante led by Prosecco, an indigenous grape variety and representative of our geographical area, which is now known not only in Europe but in the rest of the world too. To this end in the two-year period from we have made some important investments purchasing pressure tanks for wine fermentation and substituting the bottling plant with more suitable machinery for sparkling wine production with a higher performance. Confirmation of this can be seen in the very significant data with reference to our Winery: in the first four months of the current year, our company s turnover for bottled wines exceeded that of cask wines - a trade sector of which we have been market leaders for years. Ein wichtiger Anlaß unsere Flaschenweine im erneuerten Outfit und vor allem den neuen Prosecco DOCG vorzustellen, der großen Anklang gefunden hat. Die Bemühungen unseres Unternehmens ist darauf ausgerichtet, der steigenden Nachfrage an Weinen wie Spumante und Frizzante, allen voran dem Prosecco nachzukommen. Der Prosecco ist eine für unser Gebiet ganz typische, mittlerweile nicht mehr nur in Europa, sondern auch im Neuen Kontinent und in der restlichen Welt bekannte Rebe. Zu diesem Zweck haben wir in den letzten beiden Jahren bedeutende Investitionen getätigt durch den Ankauf von Autoklaven zur Weinvergärung. Weiter eine spezifisch für Schaumweine geeignete Hochleistungs-Abfüllanlage. Beweis dafür ist eine für unser Unternehmen bedeutsame Zahl: In den ersten 4 Monaten dieses Jahres hat der Umsatz bei Flaschenweinen jenen bei Fassweinen übertroffen. Ein Gebiet, auf dem wir seit vielen Jahren ein weltweit führendes Unternehmen sind. Gerardo and Giorgio Serena

3 Fiere di settore, importanti opportunità per l export Vinicola Serena prosegue il suo processo di internazionalizzazione. Le fiere di settore in Italia e all estero in questo senso rappresentano un momento prezioso per allacciare nuovi contatti, come spiega il Responsabile Export Luca Serena. Anche quest anno abbiamo partecipato dal 21 al 23 marzo al Prowein, la fiera annuale più importante per il settore enologico in Germania. A caratterizzarla una vasta presenza di espositori, visitatori e operatori del settore alla ricerca di novità. Nel complesso, però, si è rivelata un edizione nella norma, tesa soprattutto a consolidare i rapporti che abbiamo già in essere recenti o di lunga data con la clientela tedesca. Fra tutte le fiere di settore il Vinitaly si rivela ancora una volta, secondo Luca Serena, la più importante per i compratori internazionali. Nei cinque giorni a Verona abbiamo allacciato nuove relazioni commerciali con paesi davvero lontani dal nostro come Giappone, Sud Korea, Malta, Scandinavia. Un interesse che getta le basi per l apertura a nuovi mercati, dove prima eravamo presenti in modo marginale o occasionale. Per quanto riguarda il mercato estero, l inizio anno non è stato particolarmente brillante. I compratori spiega Luca Serena - hanno tardato ad esaurire le ampie scorte del periodo natalizio causa la crisi e le cattive condizioni meteo. Da fine febbraio abbiamo invece registrato una marcata ripresa, complice l introduzione dei prosecchi DOCG di Conegliano e Valdobbiadene e DOC Treviso che non hanno perso in competitività dopo il passaggio da qualità IGT a qualità di origine controllata e garantita. Se le bottiglie ci permettono di aprire nuovi mercati e consolidare quelli attuali come Austria, Svizzera, Belgio, Olanda, dall altra ci stiamo concentrando sul progetto del vino in fusto per introdurlo nei prossimi anni in tutta Europa. Ovviamente fondamentale sarà la presentazione alle prossime fiere di settore. Trade fairs, an important opportunity for export Vinicola Serena is continuing its process of internationalisation. In this way trade fairs both in Italy and abroad represent an invaluable moment in which to start new contacts, as the Export Manager, Luca Serena explains. Once again this year, we took part in the Prowein fair, the most important wine trade fair in Germany from 21 to 23 March. There were a large number of exhibitors, visitors and trade operators on the lookout for novelties. On the whole, however, it turned out to be the same as usual, mainly for consolidating existing business relationships whether they be long term relationships or recent additions with the German clientele. Amongst all the trade fairs, according to Luca Serena, Vinitaly turned out to be the most important as far as international buyers were concerned. In the five days we spent in Verona, we made new business relationships with countries that are really far away from our own such as Japan, South Korea, Malta and Scandinavia. Interest which creates a foundation for openings to new markets, where beforehand we were only present in a marginal or casual way. As far as the overseas market is concerned, the beginning of the year was not particularly brilliant. As explains Luca Serena Buyers were late in exhausting their large Christmas stocks due to the economic crisis and the poor weather conditions. From the end of February, we have had a marked upturn, supported by the introduction of the DOCG proseccos from Conegliano and Valdobbiadene together with the DOC Treviso which have not lost their competitiveness following their passing in quality from IGT denominated wines to a controlled and warranted designation of origin. If these bottles will allow us to open new markets and consolidate the current ones such as Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Holland on the other side we are concentrating our cask wine project so as to introduce it throughout Europe over the next few years. It is obviously fundamental that these projects be presented at the upcoming trade fairs. Fachmessen, eine bedeutende Gelegenheit für den Export Vinicola Serena schreitet auf ihrem Weg in Richtung Internationalisierung mit Riesenschritten voran. Die Fachmessen in Italien und im Ausland sind dabei in einem gewissen Sinne eine wertvolle Gelegenheit neue Kontakte zu knüpfen, wie der Exportleiter Luca Serena erklärt. Auch dieses Jahr haben wir vom 21. März bis zum 23. März an der jährlich stattfindenden, wohl bedeutendsten Messe Prowein in Deutschland teilgenommen. Bei dieser Veranstaltung sind zahlreiche Aussteller, Besucher und Fachleute vertreten, die auf der Suche nach Neuem sind. Insgesamt jedoch hat sich diese Messe als eine ganz normale Fachveranstaltung herausgestellt, die vor allem dazu diente, die bereits bestehenden langjährigen, wie auch seit kurzem erst bestehenden Kontakte mit den deutschen Kunden zu vertiefen. Von allen Fachmessen ist die Vinitaly einmal mehr, laut Luca Serena, die bedeutendste Veranstaltung für die internationale Kundschaft. In den fünf Tagen in Verona haben wir mit sehr weit entfernt liegenden Ländern Handelsbeziehungen geknüpft, wie Japan, Südkorea, Malta oder Skandinavien. Ein Interesse, wodurch neue Brücken hin zu neuen Märkten geschlagen werden, dorthin eben, wo wir früher nur eine Randstellung eingenommen haben oder nur hin und wieder Beachtung fanden. Was die ausländischen Märkte anlangt, waren die ersten Monate dieses Jahres nicht gerade vielversprechend. Die Käufer, so Luca Serena, haben die großen Vorräte im Weihnachtsgeschäft aufgrund der bestehenden Krise und der schlechten Wetterbedingungen erst spät ausgeschöpft. Seit Ende Februar haben wir hingegen einen beachtlichen Anstieg festgestellt, was sicherlich mit der Einführung der Prosecco- Marken DOCG Conegliano e Valdobbiadene und DOC Treviso zusammenhängt. Dabei ging nach dem Übergang von der Qualität IGT zur garantierten und kontrollierten Herkunftsbezeichnung die Wettbewerbsfähigkeit keineswegs verloren. Einerseits helfen uns die Flaschen neue Märkte zu erschließen und die derzeitigen wie den österreichischen, den schweizerischen, belgischen und holländischen zu festigen, andererseits konzentrieren wir uns auch auf das Projekt Faßweine, um diese dann in den kommenden Jahren in ganz Europa einzuführen. Dabei wird die Präsentation diesbezüglich auf den kommenden Fachmessen von grundlegender Bedeutung sein. Fungerà inoltre spiega Luca Serena - da riferimento per la rete commerciale estera in via di costruzione: vorremmo organizzarla al meglio tramite importatori che possano fungere anche da agenti, agenti di vendita ed altri operatori di consolidata esperienza. Zur Stärkung der Außenhandelsstruktur innerhalb des Unternehmens Vinicola Serena kann man ab heute auf zwei weitere Mitarbeiter zählen. Sabine Leibbrandt, Muttersprache Deutsch, wird sich hauptsächlich dem deutschen Markt und dem Back Office im Export widmen. Giovanni Matia Pianca wird hingegen dem Exportleiter Luca Serena zur Hand gehen und sich mit den Auslandsmärkten beschäftigen, auf denen Vinicola Serena bereits vertreten ist. Weiter werden sie, so Luca Serena, als Ansprechpartner innerhalb des Verkaufsnetzes im Ausland dienen, das gerade im Aufbau begriffen ist: Wir möchten das so gut wie möglich mittels Importeuren abwickeln, die auch als Handelsvertreter, als Verkäufer eingesetzt werden können und mit Hilfe weiterer Fachleute.

È stato definito così il Vinitaly, in scena a Verona dall 8 al 12 aprile scorso. E non ha certo tradito le aspettive, almeno per Vinicola Serena che era presente in fiera con due stand, uno dedicato a Terra Serena e l altro allo Champagne De Vilmont. Il Vinitaly testimonia Giorgio Serena, uno dei titolari di Vinicola Serena si è dimostrato, ancora una volta, la manifestazione più importante del settore, con una grande partecipazione di operatori sia nazionali che internazionali. Ma la vera novità quest anno è stata un altra. Possiamo affermare che è stato un Vinitaly all insegna del Prosecco. Durante il primo giorno di fiera è stata stappata infatti, presso lo stand del Consorzio ed in presenza del Presidente della Regione Veneto Luca Zaia, la prima bottiglia di Prosecco Spumante Superiore di Conegliano e Valdobbiadene DOCG, presentando così al mondo intero questa nuova denominazione. Il giorno seguente è stato presentato il nuovo consorzio di tutela del Prosecco DOC, che si presenta già come uno dei più importanti d Italia. Il suo scopo, insieme al consorzio della DOCG, è garantire e promuovere il Prosecco che continua ad avere una sempre maggiore richiesta in tutti i mercati. Come azienda abbiamo avuto molti nuovi contatti con operatori di paesi Extra Unione Europea come Brasile, U.S.A., Cina, Korea, senza dimenticare le presenze molto gradite dei nostri clienti storici. Anche in questi casi, l argomento principale è stato il Prosecco, nei suoi nuovi modi di proporsi. Un Vinitaly quindi positivo, che ci dà lo stimolo per affrontare con forza e determinazione l anno in corso e raggiungere gli obiettivi prefissati. The following day it was presented to the new Consortium for the protection of Prosecco DOC which is already presenting itself as one of the most important of its kind in Italy. Its objective together with the DOCG Consortium is to guarantee and promote Prosecco which continues to have ever more requests on all markets. As a company we have had many new contacts with operators from outside the European Union such as Brazil, U.S.A., China, Korea, without forgetting the much appreciated presence of our longstanding customers. Also in this case the main discussion topic was the Prosecco, in its new way of being proposed. A very positive Vinitaly therefore, which has given us the stimulus to affront the current year with strength and determination and to reach our expected goals. Und sicherlich wurde auf dieser Weinmesse alle Erwartungen voll und ganz erfüllt/haben sich alle Erwartungen voll und ganz erfüllt, zumindest für Vinicola Serena. Das Unternehmen war auf der Messe mit zwei Ständen vertreten. Ein Stand war der Terra Serena gewidmet, der andere dem Champagne De Vilmont.

5 l Prosecco Sul lago di Como per discutere del settore Horeca Vinicola Serena ha partecipato al primo Forum dei consumi Fuori Casa, organizzato nella splendida cornice di Villa Erba a Cernobbio sul lago di Como. Si è rivelata testimonia Giorgio Serena - una manifestazione diversa, fuori dai soliti schemi. Ma soprattutto davvero interessante: ha offerto la possibilità di condividere ed affrontare in due giorni molto intensi le varie problematiche del settore Horeca nazionale. Credo che, con qualche miglioria, possa diventare un appuntamento fisso per il settore e per le aziende leader che vi operano come appunto la nostra. Die Vinitaly erzählt Giorgio Serena, einer der Betriebseigentümer von Vinicola Serena war einmal mehr die bedeutendste Veranstaltung auf diesem Gebiet/hat wieder einmal mehr bewiesen, das sie die Königin aller Weinmessen ist. Dies nicht nur durch die zahlreiche Beteiligung von italienischen und internationalen im Bereich des Weines Tätigen. Aber die eigentliche Neuheit war dieses Jahr eine ganz andere. Wir können behaupten, daß die Vinitaly im Zeichen des Prosecco stand. Am ersten Messetag wurde in der Tat die erste Flasche Prosecco Spumante Superior aus Conegliano und Valdobbiadene DOCG von Luca Zaia Präsident der Region Venetien am Stand des Konsortiums geöffnet und somit der ganzen Welt diese neue Bezeichnung vorgestellt. Am darauffolgenden Tag wurde das neue Schutzkonsortium für den Prosecco DOC der Offentlichkeit* vorgestellt, das bereits zu einem der wichtigsten Italiens zählt. Das Ziel dieses Konsortiums ist es gemeinsam mit dem Konsortium DOCG den Prosecco zu schützen und zu bewerben. Ein Wein der auf allen Märkten immer gefragter ist/dessen Nachfragen auf allen Märkten stetig steigt. Als Unternehmen haben wir zahlreich neue Kontakte zu Weinhändlern in Drittstaaten wie Brasilien, den USA, China und Korea geknüpft, ohne dabei das Wiedersehen mit unseren Stammkunden zu vergessen. Auch in diesem Fall drehte sich alles um den Prosecco und die neue Art, ihn vorzustellen. Eine Vinitaly, die sehr positiv verlaufen ist und die uns den richtigen Kick gegeben hat entschieden das laufende Jahr in Angriff zu nehmen und die von uns gesetzten Ziele zu erreichen. Am Comosee im Gespräch über den Bereich Horeca Vinicola Serena hat beim ersten Forum zum Thema Consumo fuori casa (Konsum außer Haus) im herrlichen Rahmen der Villa Erba in Cernobbio am Comosee teilgenommen. Es hat sich, so Giorgio Serena, als eine ganz außergewöhnliche Veranstaltung herausgestellt, ganz anders. Was vor allem daran so interessant war, war die Möglichkeit zwei Tage sich sehr intensiv mit den verschiedenen Problematiken im Bereich Horeca national mit den anderen Teilnehmern auszutauschen und zu besprechen. Ich glaube, daß mit Verbesserungen hier und dort, diese Veranstaltung zu einem Fixpunkt auf diesem Gebiet und für die führenden Unternehmen wie unserem werden kann. 6 Vinicola Serena al Festival di Cannes l attenzione sui prodotti italiani. Una splendida idea, a mio avviso, quella di unire il cinema al cibo, creando qualcosa di bello da vedere e da gustare. Vinicola Serena ha partecipato quest anno dal 12 al 23 maggio al Festival del Cinema di Cannes in qualità di sponsor esclusivo per il Prosecco. I partecipanti hanno potuto degustare così il suo pregiato e riconosciuto Prosecco Superiore D.O.C.G. Conegliano Valdobbiadene Spumante. La risposta del pubblico al nostro prodotto spiega Chiara Serena, presente all evento in qualità di rappresentante dell azienda è stata davvero positiva. La nostra azienda ha suscitato molto interesse, così come i prodotti italiani in genere. Questa attenzione mi ha reso particolarmente felice, poiché sono una forte sostenitrice della qualità del Made in Italy. Durante il Festival Vinicola Serena era presente nella zona Vip all interno del Padiglione Italiano, gestito da Cinecittà Luce, rinomata società che promuove il cinema italiano nel mondo. Qui continua Chiara Serena oltre alle interviste ad attori e registi si sono tenute molte presentazioni cinematografiche in abbinamento a rinfreschi e buffet, attirando in particolare Vinicola Serena at the Cannes Film Festival Italian bubbles at the Film Industry s Olympus. This year Vinicola Serena took part in the Cannes Film Festival from May 12 th to 23 rd as the exclusive sponsor for Prosecco. Unser Betrieb hat viel Interesse geweckt, so wie auch die italienischen Produkte im allgemeinen. Die große Aufmerksamkeit für unsere Produkte hat mich besonders gefreut, da ich mich mit Leib und Seele für das Made in Italy einsetze. Während des Festivals war Vinicola Serena in der Vip- Lounge in der Messehalle Italien, die von Cinecittà Luce geleitet wurde. Es handelt sich dabei um eine bekannte Gesellschaft zur Förderung des italienischen Films auf der ganzen Welt. Hier, erzählt Chiara Serena weiter, gab es neben Interviews mit Schauspielern und Regisseuren zahlreiche Filmvorführungen mit anschließendem Buffets und Empfängen. Dabei wurden die italienischen Produkte zu wahren Hinguckern. Noch dazu war es meiner Meinung nach eine wunderbare Idee, das Kino mit Gaumenfreuden zu verbinden und somit was Schönes zu sehen und auch kosten zu können.
