Conservare con cura il manuale per successive consultazioni. L installazione ed il collegamento elettrico del termostato devono essere eseguiti da personale qualificato ed in conformità alle norme e leggi vigenti. Se appare sul display il valore della temperatura ambiente -5 C o C (+23 F o F) in modo lampeggiante, significa che la temperatura rilevata è oltre i limiti di scala. Se il display visualizza ---- lampeggiante indica sonda guasta, ogni attività di termoregolazione viene sospesa. Modello a 3V dc: utilizzare solamente 2 pile stilo alcaline da 1,5V tipo AA (LR6). N.B.: il prodotto è stato testato e garantisce le sue caratteristiche con pile alcaline DURACELL o ENERGIZER. Modello a 230V ac: dopo aver installato e impostato il termostato, in caso di assenza di alimentazione di rete il display si spegne salvando tutte le impostazioni effettuate, al ritorno dell alimentazione di rete il display si accende e il dispositivo ritorna al normale funzionamento. In caso di necessità pulire il termostato utilizzando un panno leggermente umido. Il costruttore si riserva la facoltà di introdurre tutte le modifiche tecniche e costruttive che riterrà necessarie senza obbligo di preavviso. 2 SMALTIMENTO DI VECCHI APPARECCHI ELETTRICI ED ELETTRONICI (direttiva europea 2002/96/CE) Questo simbolo sul prodotto o sul suo imballo indica che questo prodotto non può essere trattato come rifiuto domestico. Al contrario, dovrà essere portato ad un punto di raccolta determinato per il riciclaggio degli apparecchi elettrici ed elettronici, come ad esempio: - punti vendita, nel caso si acquisti un prodotto nuovo simile a quello da smaltire - punti di raccolta locali (centri di raccolta rifiuti, centri locali di riciclaggio, ecc...). 6 IT INSTALLAZIONE FISSAGGIO DELLA BASE A PARETE Disattivare la tensione di rete 230V~ Fissare con le viti in dotazione la base del termostato: a parete, alla scatola da incasso tonda o rettangolare utilizzando le opportune coppie di fori A. 7 INSTALLAZIONE COLLEGAMENTI ELETTRICI Importante: l installazione ed il collegamento elettrico dei dispositivi ed apparecchiature devono essere eseguiti da personale qualificato ed in conformità alle norme e leggi vigenti. Il costruttore non si assume alcuna responsabilità per quanto concerne l impiego di prodotti che debbano seguire particolari norme di ambiente e/o installazione. Disattivare la tensione di rete 230V~ IT collegare il dispositivo da comandare ai morsetti: 1-comune 2-contatto normalmente chiuso 3-contatto normalmente aperto ai morsetti 8e 9è possibile collegare un programmatore telefonico per l attivazione del termostato a distanza. 8 IT INSTALLAZIONE PROCEDURA DI FISSAGGIO O RIMOZIONE DEL TERMOSTATO DALLA BASE A PARETE SOLO MODELLO ALIMENTAZIONE A PILE (3Vdc) Applicare il coperchietto copricavi inserendo il dentino G nell apposita cava H della base, quindi fissarlo, con una leggera pressione, nei ganci I. Per rimuovere il coperchietto utilizzare un piccolo cacciavite facendo leva in successione su ciascun gancio I. I Agganciare il termostato sulla base a parete avendo cura di inserire correttamente i contatti, quindi esercitare una leggera pressione sino ad udire lo scatto dei dentini di fissaggio sulla base. 1 H 2 8 base a parete 3 Per rimuovere il termostato dalla base a parete, afferrarlo come in figura, quindi estrarlo facendolo ruotare sul lato destro. G Programmazione facilitata (solo modello alimentazione a pile) Tutte le operazioni di programmazione possono essere effettuate prima di fissare il termostato alla base a parete; ciò consente di effettuare la programmazione stando comodamente seduti. Attenzione! Qualora la programmazione del termostato avvenga prima del fissaggio alla base parete, ad installazione ultimata l indicazione ON (spenta o lampeggiante) presente sul display potrebbe non corrispondere allo stato reale del relè. Entro max 1 minuto dal fissaggio del termostato alla base parete, il relè si attiverà secondo l indicazione ON (spenta o lampeggiante) presente sul display.

9 INSTALLAZIONE PROCEDURA DI FISSAGGIO O RIMOZIONE DEL TERMOSTATO DALLA BASE A PARETE IT SOLO MODELLO ALIMENTAZIONE 230V ac con tensione di rete 230V~ disattivata Fissaggio: Agganciare il corpo termostato sulla base a parete (ganci D) avendo cura di inserire correttamente i contatti, quindi ruotarlo fino ad esercitare una leggera pressione e ad udire lo scatto dei dentini di fissaggio C sulla base. Infine serrare le apposite viti sul termostato e chiudere lo sportellino scorrevole. D 1 C 2 3 base a parete Rimozione: Dopo aver aperto lo sportellino scorrevole, svitare le 2 viti presenti sul corpo del termostato; dopodiché afferrarlo lateralmente con le dita (all incirca nei punti indicati dalla lettera L) e tirarlo verso di se in modo da sganciarlo dalla base fissata a muro L 9

10 IT INSTALLAZIONE Far scorrere lo sportellino come nelle figure fino all accesso dell'apposito vano pile (modello alimentazione 3Vdc) oppure alle viti di fissaggio alla base a parete (modello alimentazione 230Vac). Viti MODELLO ALIMENTAZIONE A PILE (3Vdc) MODELLO ALIMENTAZIONE 230V~ INSERIMENTO O SOSTITUZIONE PILE SOLO MODELLO ALIMENTAZIONE A PILE (3Vdc) Inserire o sostituire con 2 pile da 1,5V tipo AA - LR6 prestando attenzione alle polarità UTILIZZARE PILE ALCALINE DI BUONA QUALITÀ (consigliate pile Duracell o Energizer) Smaltire le pile esauste gettandole negli appositi contenitori e comunque secondo quanto prescritto dalle norme sulla tutela dell ambiente Attenzione: la durata delle pile può risultare superiore a 2 anni. Si consiglia comunque di sostituirle almeno ogni 24 mesi per evitare che si esauriscano in periodi di assenza (es. vacanze natalizie ecc.) 10

11 ISTRUZIONI D USO IT MODALITÀ DI FUNZIONAMENTO Il termostato prevede 5 modalità di funzionamento: INVERNO = riscaldamento (impostazione di fabbrica) con temperatura di COMFORT Riduzione notturna inverno = riscaldamento con temperatura di RIDUZIONE (risparmio) OFF Termostato spento - In funzionamento riscaldamento: è attiva la modalità temperatura antigelo (se non esclusa durante la programmazione) - In funzionamento raffrescamento: l impianto è completamente disattivato ESTATE = raffrescamento con temperatura di COMFORT Riduzione notturna estate = raffrescamento con temperatura di RIDUZIONE (risparmio) CAMBIO MODALITÀ DI FUNZIONAMENTO Cambio da temperatura di COMFORT a temperatura di RIDUZIONE e viceversa Premere una volta il tasto Mode, la relativa simbologia e la temperatura impostata lampeggiano, premere il tasto OK entro 5 secondi per confermare. Cambio da NORMALE FUNZIONAMENTO a OFF Premere 2 volte il tasto Mode, la scritta OFF e la temperatura antigelo impostata lampeggiano, premere il tasto OK entro 5 secondi per confermare. Cambio da INVERNO a ESTATE e viceversa Premere 3 volte il tasto Mode, la relativa simbologia e la temperatura impostata lampeggiano, premere il tasto OK entro 5 secondi per confermare. Cambio da OFF a NORMALE FUNZIONAMENTO Premere una volta il tasto Mode per ritornare alla modalità di funzionamento precedente. Nelle figure sotto, viene mostrato il passaggio dalla modalità INVERNO con temp. COMFORT alla relativa temp. RIDUZIONE esempio: funzionamento riscaldamento attivo ON Premere una volta il tasto Mode Premere il Tasto OK entro 5 secondi per confermare. 11

12 IT ISTRUZIONI D USO MODIFICA TEMPERATURA IMPOSTATA Dalla modalità in corso è possibile modificare l impostazione della temperatura agendo direttamente sui tasti o, la nuova impostazione viene subito memorizzata. Ogni pressione dei tasti o comporta la variazione di 0,1 gradi; tenendo premuto si ottiene lo scorrimento veloce dei valori. Nota: sarà possibile bloccare i Set di temperatura massima e minima (vedere cap. FUNZIONI PROGRAMMABILI). Oppure: Premere una o più volte il tasto Mode fino a visualizzare la 3 modalità di funzionamento desiderata. entro 5 secondi: premere i tasti o per variare il valore impostato. Trascorsi 5 secondi dall ultima pressione di un tasto il termostato riprende il funzionamento precedente. ON esempio: Nota: se è stato inserito il codice di accesso segreto (vedere cap. FUNZIONI PROGRAMMABILI) l utente non potrà modificare il Set di temperatura antigelo impostato o escluso. 1 2 IMPORTANTE! Il termostato consente impostazioni di da +5 C a 37,7 C (+41,0 F +99,9 F) con valori di temperatura che soddisfino le seguenti condizioni: Inverno: impostazione temperatura Comfort maggiore o uguale a temperatura di Riduzione inverno. Estate: impostazione temperatura di Comfort minore o uguale a temperatura di Riduzione estate. Modalità inverno ( riscaldamento): temperatura Comfort 20,0 C / 68,0 F Caldaia in funzione con temperatura ambiente inferiore a 20,0 C / 68,0 F Riduzione notturna inverno: Temperatura Riduzione 17,5 C / 63,5 F Caldaia in funzione con temperatura ambiente inferiore a 17,5 C / 63,5 F Modalità estate ( raffrescamento): temperatura Comfort 25,0 C / 77,0 F Condizionatore in funzione con temperatura ambiente superiore a 25,0 C / 77,0 F Riduzione notturna estate: temperatura Riduzione 28,0 C / 82,4 F Condizionatore in funzione con temperatura ambiente superiore a 28,0 C / 82,4 F OFF Termostato spento: temperatura Antigelo 4,0 C / 39,2 F (regolabile o escludibile) - Caldaia in funzione con temperatura ambiente inferiore a 4,0 C / 39,2 F - Condizionatore disattivato 12

13 ON ISTRUZIONI D USO FUNZIONAMENTO CON PROGRAMMATORE TELEFONICO Il programmatore telefonico permette di comandare a distanza il termostato agendo sul contatto collegato ai morsetti 8e 9di quest'ultimo (vedere paragrafo Collegamenti elettrici). esempio: programmatore telefonico Contatto IT Programmatore telefonico Funzionamento termostato Chiusura contatto Apertura contatto in modalità temperatura di comfort in modalità OFF temperatura antigelo Chiudendo il contatto: il termostato in funzionamento temperatura di riduzione, OFF antigelo, si pone in funzionamento con temperatura comfort. Sul display appare il simbolo lampeggiante ad indicare la forzatura (fig.1). Fig. 1 ON In qualsiasi momento sarà possibile cambiare il set di temperatura o la modalità di funzionamento del termostato agendo direttamente sulla tastiera. Al primo cambiamento effettuato sul termostato tramite la pressione di un tasto, sul display permane il simbolo fisso ad indicare che il contatto del programmatore è ancora chiuso e che potrà essere aperto anche in un secondo tempo (fig. 2). Fig. 2 Aprendo il contatto: il termostato si pone in modalità OFF con temperatura antigelo (se non esclusa) vedere fig. 3 (nota: si spegne il condizionatore se il termostato sta operando in modalità raffrescamento). Sul display appare il simbolo lampeggiante ad indicare la forzatura. Premere sul termostato il tasto Mode (fig. 3) per tornare al normale funzionamento (esempio in fig. 4). Attenzione: i comandi di apertura e chiusura contatto sono operativi entro 1 minuto. Fig. 3 Nota: nel caso l utente non si ricordi lo stato in cui si trovano il termostato e/o il programmatore (es. nella casa di montagna), è opportuno fare una commutazione doppia per riportare il termostato ad uno stato sicuro di forzatura da telefono. Esempio: se si deve forzare in modalità di Comfort e si ha il dubbio sullo stato del programmatore, si deve eseguire un apertura e chiusura del contatto, viceversa per forzare in OFF antigelo si deve eseguire la chiusura e apertura del contatto. 14 IT ISTRUZIONI D USO SOLO MODELLO ALIMENTAZIONE A PILE (3Vdc) SEGNALAZIONE PILE QUASI SCARICHE O SCARICHE La comparsa del simbolo lampeggiante indica che le pile si stanno esaurendo; da questo momento si hanno circa 30 giorni di tempo per effettuare la sostituzione. Se non si sostituiscono le pile quasi scariche nei tempi dichiarati si spegnerà il display visualizzando solo il simbolo fisso. Nota: la retroilluminazione del display viene automaticamente disattivata. Ogni attività di termoregolazione viene sospesa e tutte le impostazioni vengono memorizzate per essere ripristinate all inserimento delle nuove pile. SOLO MODELLO ALIMENTAZIONE 230V ac MANCANZA TENSIONE DI RETE in caso di assenza di alimentazione di rete (230V~) il display del termostato, dopo alcuni secondi, si spegne completamente disattivando la termoregolazione e salvando tutte le impostazioni effettuate in un apposita memoria, al ritorno dell alimentazione di rete il display si accende e il dispositivo ritorna al normale funzionamento. 14

15 FUNZIONI PROGRAMMABILI ACCESSO ALLA PROGRAMMAZIONE L accesso è consigliato all installatore o ad utenti esperti in quanto la modifica di alcune impostazioni potrebbe compromettere il corretto funzionamento dell impianto. 4 sec Tenere premuto il tasto Mode per 4 sec. Sul display appare per alcuni istanti la scritta SET PROG. Dopodiché si accede all interno del menù di programmazione. Oppure: se avete inserito precedentemente un codice di accesso segreto il display si presenta come nella figura sotto. Inserire i 4 numeri che compongono il Vostro codice segreto. Funzioni programmabili: All interno del menù di programmazione si passa da una funzione all altra premendo ad impulsi il tasto Mode e sono, in sequenza, le seguenti: - Impostazione della scala delle temperature ( C o F). - Correzione della temperatura ambiente misurata (OFFSET). - Blocchi dei Set di temperatura massima e minima (inverno/estate). - Selezione della modalità di regolazione della temperatura: DIFFERENZIALE ON/OFF o PROPORZIONALE - Modifica del valore di isteresi impostato (Differenziale on/off). - Modifica del ciclo di durata impostato (Proporzionale). - Esclusione o impostazione temperatura antigelo. - Retroilluminazione: temporizzata o fissa (solo modello 230V~). - Inserimento, modifica o cancellazione codice segreto di accesso alla programmazione. Premere il tasto Mode una più volte per passare da una funzione all altra. IT Per ogni campo a disposizione, utilizzare i tasti o per inserire il numero e confermare con il tasto OK. esempio Dopo la conferma della 4 cifra si accede all interno del menù di programmazione. Nota: in caso di password dimenticata vedere cap. codice di ripristino. IMPORTANTE: per uscire dal menù di programmazione includendo le eventuali nuove impostazioni confermate con il tasto OK, agire nel seguente modo: Premere per 4 secondi il tasto OK, oppure attendere 60 secondi (time-out); il termostato ritorna al normale funzionamento. 15

16 IT FUNZIONI PROGRAMMABILI IMPOSTAZIONE DELLA SCALA DELLE TEMPERATURE Il termostato è predisposto in fabbrica per la visualizzazione delle temperature in gradi Centigradi; sarà possibile passare alla scala Fahrenheit o viceversa come da seguente procedura: Premere il tasto o per modificare l impostazione attuale. CORREZIONE LETTURA TEMPERATURA AMBIENTE Se per qualsiasi motivo il termostato deve essere installato in una posizione per cui la temperatura misurata possa esserne influenzata (es. il muro perimetrale che in inverno è mediamente più freddo del resto dell abitazione) è possibile impostare un Offset (valore di correzione) della temperatura ambiente misurata, la correzione è impostabile da -2 C a +2 C o da -3.6 a +3.6 F. Premere il tasto o per modificare l impostazione attuale. Premere il tasto OK per memorizzare e passare all impostazione successiva oppure tenerlo premuto per almeno 4 sec per salvare la nuova impostazione e uscire dal menù di programmazione. 17 FUNZIONI PROGRAMMABILI IT BLOCCO SET TEMPERATURA MAX e MIN per la modalità Inverno ed Estate In alcuni casi particolari di installazione del termostato, ad esempio in edifici pubblici, alberghi ecc., potrebbe essere utile limitare i set di temperatura in modo da evitare impostazioni errate da parte di personale non autorizzato. Sarà quindi possibile limitare i valori di Set temperatura massima e/o minima. Nella configurazione di base non viene impostato alcun blocco. Esempio: blocco del set di temperatura per la modalità Inverno (riscaldamento) Tramite i tasti o impostare il valore di blocco della temperatura massima. Il valore dell Isteresi deve essere impostato in base all inerzia termica dell impianto, si consiglia un valore basso per impianti con radiatori (es. in ghisa) ed un valore alto per impianti con Fan coil. Fancoil). L impostazione di fabbrica è 10 minuti. REGOLAZIONE O ESCLUSIONE PROTEZIONE ANTIGELO Nella modalità di funzionamento OFF, il termostato è programmato per proteggere l impianto in caso di gelo quando la temperatura scende sotto i +4.0 C (+39.2 F); questa impostazione è regolabile da+4.0 C a+12.0 C(+39.2 F F). È possibile escludere questa funzione, in questo caso l impianto sarà espostoadeventualidannicausatidalgelo. Tramite i tasti o impostare la durata del ciclo di controllo proporzionale. Premere il tasto OK per memorizzare e passare all impostazione successiva oppure tenerlo premuto per almeno 4 sec per salvare la nuova impostazione e uscire dal menù di programmazione. Tramite i tasti o impostare il valore di temperatura antigelo desiderata. 21 FUNZIONI PROGRAMMABILI RETROILLUMINAZIONE DEL DISPLAY: TEMPORIZZATA O FISSA SOLO PER MODELLO CON ALIMENTAZIONE 230V~ Nel termostato con alimentazione di rete 230V~ la retroilluminazione del display viene impostata di fabbrica in modo temporizzato (si spegne dopo 6 sec. dall ultima pressione di un tasto). Sarà comunque possibile impostare la retroilluminazione in modo fisso per avere il display sempre illuminato. Tramite i tasti o impostare la modalità di retroilluminazione del display desiderata. Premere il tasto OK per memorizzare e passare all impostazione successiva oppure tenerlo premuto per almeno 4 sec per salvare la nuova impostazione e uscire dal menù di programmazione. INSERIRE/MODIFICARE/ANNULLARE IL CODICE SEGRETO (4 cifre) L accesso alla programmazione può essere protetto da codice segreto abilitato dall utente esperto, installatore o dal gestore dell impianto. Se il termostato è protetto da codice segreto il comando di reset non influisce sull impostazione e programmazione effettuata. Nella configurazione di base non viene impostato nessun codice. Nessun codice segreto (In questa condizione è possibile premere consecutivamente il tasto OK 4 volte per ritornare all impostazione della scala C/ F). Premere il tasto Mode per ritornare all impostazione della scala C/ F oppure tenere premuto il tasto OK peralmeno4sec.pernon inserire nessun codice e uscire dal menù di programmazione. Inserimento codice segreto Inserire i 4 numeri desiderati del Vostro nuovo codice segreto. Per ogni campo a disposizione, utilizzare il tasti / per inserire un numero da 0 a 9 (escluso il trattino) e confermare ogni cifra con il tasto OK per memorizzare. All inserimento della 4 cifra premere il tasto OK per memorizzare e ritornare all impostazione di C/ F oppure tenerlo premuto per 4 sec. per salvare e uscire dal menù di esempio 4 sec programmazione. Modificare o annullare il codice segreto per modificare un codice già memorizzato è sufficiente cambiarlo, viceversa per annullarlo inserire i trattini ( ) nei 4 campi a disposizione; seguendo in entrambi i casi la procedura sopra descritta. 22 IT OPERAZIONE DI RESET RESET L operazione di Reset è consigliata all installatore o ad utenti esperti in quanto con questa operazione tutte le impostazioni e programmazioni precedentemente eseguite secondo la tipologia dell impianto verranno perse. Terminata l operazione di Reset il termostato ripristina tutte le impostazioni di fabbrica. Premere contemporaneamente i 4 tasti del termostato e tenerli premuti per almeno 4 secondi. Tutti i segmenti del display si accendono per qualche istante. ON ON Il termostato riprende il funzionamento nella modalità Riscaldamento (inverno), ripristinando tutte le impostazioni di fabbrica. IMPORTANTE: se il termostato è protetto da codice segreto precedentemente inserito, l operazione di RESET sopra descritta non modifica nessun parametro impostato o programmato. 22 Nota: per ripristinare le impostazioni di fabbrica azzerando tutti i dati programmati; annullare il codice segreto come da apposita procedura decritta precedentemente dopodiché ripetere l operazione di RESET.

30 INSTALLATION PROCEDURE TO FASTEN OR REMOVE THE THERMOSTAT TO/FROM THE WALL-MOUNTED BASE EN ONLY in the BATTERY-POWERED MODEL (3Vdc) Attach the cable cover by inserting tooth G into the relative slot Hof the base, then fasten it to the hooks Iby pressing it lightly. Use a small screwdriver to lever each hook I so as to remove the cover. If the thermostat is programmed before being fastened to the wallmounted base, once installation is completed, the ON indicator on the display (off or blinking) may not correspond to the actual state of the relay. Within 1 minute (max) after having fastened the thermostat to the wall-mounted base, the relay will be activated in accordance with the ON indication displayed (off or blinking).

Note: The maximum and minimum temperature settings can be blocked (refer to the PROGRAMMABLE FUNCTIONS chapter). 35 ON USER INSTRUCTIONS TELEPHONE PROGRAMMER OPERATION The telephone programmer allows you to control the thermostat from a distance via the contact connected to terminals 8 and 9 (refer to the Electrical connections paragraph). e.g. Telephone programmer Contact EN Telephone programmer Thermostat operation Closed contact in comfort temperature mode Open contact in anti-freeze temperature OFF mode Closing the contact: when the thermostat is in the reduction temperature mode with the anti-freeze OFF, it applies the comfort temperature mode. The symbol blinks on the display to indicate its activation (Fig. 1). Fig. 1 ON The temperature setting or the operation mode of the thermostat can be changed at any time by pressing the keypad. When the first change is made to the thermostat by pressing any button, the symbol is constantly displayed so as to indicate that the contact of the programmer is still closed. This can be opened at a later stage (Fig. 2). Attention: the controls to open and close contacts are effective within 1 minute. Example: If you must activate the Comfort mode and have doubts on the status of the programmer, the contact must be opened and closed. 36 USER INSTRUCTIONS EN ONLY IN THE BATTERY-POWERED MODEL (3VDC) LOW / FLAT BATTERY INDICATOR When the symbol blinks, this indicates that the batteries are running out and as from this moment there are 30 days to change them. If the almost flat batteries are not replaced within the stipulated time, the display will go off and the symbol will remainconstantly lit. Note: the backlight of the display is automatically deactivated. All thermoregulation is suspended and all settings are saved to be restored when the new batteries are inserted. ONLY IN THE 230V AC POWERED MODEL POWER FAILURE in the event of a power failure (230V~), after a few seconds, the display of the thermostat switches off, thereby deactivating the thermoregulation and saving all the settings in a special memory. When the power is reinstated, the display switches back on and the device returns to its regular operation. 36

37 PROGRAMMABLE FUNCTIONS ACCESS TO THE PROGRAMS It is recommended to give access to the installer or expert users since a change in some settings can compromise the proper functioning of the system. 4 sec Keep the Mode button pressed for 4 sec. SET PROG appears on the display for a few moments. Then the programming menu is accessed. Or: if a secret access code has been previously entered, the display will look like the picture below. Enter the 4 numbers that make up your secret code. Programmable functions: The Mode button is pressed repeatedly to switch from one function to another within the programming menu. The sequence is as follows: - Temperature scale setting ( C or F) - Correction of the detected room temperature (OFFSET) - Blocking the maximum and minimum temperature settings (Winter/summer) - Selecting the temperature adjustment method: ON/OFF DIFFERENTIAL or PROPORTIONAL - Adjusting the set hysteresis value (on/off differential) - Adjusting the set duration of the cycle (Proportional) - Excluding or setting the anti-freeze temperature - Backlight: timed or constantly lit (only for the 230V- powered model) - Entering, changing or cancelling the secret programming access code Press the Mode button once or repeatedly to switch from one functiontoanother. EN Enter the number into each field available via the or button and confirm via the OK button. Example Once the 4th digit is confirmed, the programming menu is accessed. Note: should the password be forgotten, refer to the Reset Code Chapter. IMPORTANT: to exit from the programming menu and save any changes made to the settings, confirmed via the OK button, proceed as follows: Press the OK button for 4 seconds or wait 60 seconds (timeout); the thermostat returns to its regular operation. 37

CORRECTING THE DETECTED ROOM TEMPERATURE If for any reason the thermostat must be installed in a position where the detected temperature can be affected (e.g. an external wall, which is generally colder than the rest of the house in winter), an Offset value (correction value) can be set for the detected room temperature and this correction can be set from -2 C to +2 C or from -3.6 to +3.6 F. Press the or button to change the current setting. Press OK to save and move on to the subsequent setting or keep the button pressed for at least 4 sec to save the new setting and exit the programming menu. 39 PROGRAMMABLE FUNCTIONS BLOCKING the MAX and MIN TEMPERATURE SETTINGS for the winter and summer modes In some particular installations, for instance in public offices, hotels, etc., it may be useful to limit the thermostat temperature settings to avoid incorrect settings being entered by unauthorised personnel. It is therefore possible to limit the maximum and/or minimum Set temperature values. The basic setup does not contain any blocked settings. Example: blocked temperature setting for the Winter mode (heating) Set the blocked value of the maximum temperature via the or button. The Hysteresis value must be set according to the system's thermal inertia; a low value is recommended for systems with radiators made of e.g. cast iron and a high value for systems with fan coils. ADJUSTING OR EXCLUDING THE ANTI-FREEZE PROTECTION When set to the OFF, mode, the thermostat is set to protect the system in the event of frost, when the temperature falls below +4.0 C (+39.2 F); This setting can be adjusted from +4.0 C to C (+39.2 F to F).This function can also be excluded. In this case, the system will be exposed to possible damages caused by frost. Set the desired antifreeze temperature via Press OK to save and move on to the subsequent setting or keep the button pressed for at least 4 sec to save the new setting and exit the programming menu. 43 PROGRAMMABLE FUNCTIONS BACKLIGHT: TIMED OR CONSTANTLY LIT ONLY FOR THE 230V~ POWERED MODEL The backlight of the 230V~ powered thermostat is default set as timed (it goes off after 6 sec from the moment the last button is released). You can still set the backlight as constantly lit. ENTERING/CHANGING/CANCELLING THE SECRET CODE (4 digits) Access to the programs can be protected with a secret code that is enabled by an expert user, the installer or the system manager. If the thermostat is protected with a secret code, the reset control does not affect the settings implemented. No code is set in the basic setup. No secret code EN Set the desired backlight mode via the or button. Press OK to save andmoveontothe subsequent setting or keep the button pressed for at least 4 sec to save the new setting and exit the programming menu. 44 RESET OPERATION RESET It is recommended that the installer or expert users access the Reset operation since all settings previously implemented in accordance with the type of system will be lost. Once this Reset operation is implemented, the thermostat restores all the default settings. EN Press the 4 buttons of the thermostat simultaneously for at least 4 seconds. All parts of the display light up for a few seconds. ON ON The thermostat restarts in the Heating mode (winter), restoring all the default settings.
