2 2 16 task: structural exercise digital submission Your goal is to develop a modular system comprising as few different elements as possible. You will then use the designed system to build a scaled model of a single family home / private residence. the scale of the model is 1:100. The focus of this exercise is to develop a sculptural approach to a spacial arrangement of a private residence rather then to come up a with buildable housing construction. The use of a lasercutter is highly recommended and support in using the shop of the faculty will be given by the chair pattern plan of the modular system (scale 1:1; pdf-file to entwurf@ebb.ar.tum.de named with date of presentation: jjmmdd_surnamestudent.pdf) submission date - digital: , 10am to 05pm Final presentation: , 0 submission requests: lasered model of the modular system, assembled The specified material is one sheet of cardboard (supplied by the chair for the final presentation; base for the model not included) sized 81,5 / 45 / 1,8mm Use of glue or other materials for the connections is not allowed.
