Die Datenübertragung erfolgt asynchron im ASCII - Code. Die USB-Daten werden an einen virtuellen Port geleitet. Im Lieferumfang des USB-Schnittstellenkabels ist eine CD mit den SoftwareTreibern zum Erstellen des erforderlichen virtuellen Ports auf dem Computer enthalten. Zur Übernahme der Daten in ein PC-Programm empfehlen wir unsere Übertragungssoftware Balance Connection KERN SCD 4.0. DBS-A02-IA-d

4 2 USB-Anschluss 1. Feuchtebestimmer vom Netz trennen. 2. USB-Treiber installieren, s. Kap USB-Kabel in den USB-Anschluss des Feuchtebestimmers einstecken. 4. Den USB-Stecker des Kabels in den USB-Anschluss des Computers einstecken. 5. Feuchtebestimmer einschalten. 6. COM Port ermitteln, s. Kap DBS-A02-IA-d-1110

5 3 Treiber installieren Darauf achten, dass Feuchtebestimmer und PC nicht mit dem USB- Kabel verbunden sind. Administratorrechte sind erforderlich. Die mitgelieferte Treiber-CD in das CD-Laufwerk einlegen. Die für Ihr System geeignete Treiberversion auswählen. Beispiel Windows: DBS-A02-IA-d

7 3.1 Zuordnung des virtuellen Ports ermitteln Darauf achten, dass Feuchtebestimmer und PC mit dem USB-Kabel verbunden sind. Feuchtebestimmer einschalten Abwarten bis die Meldung Die Hardware wurde installiert und kann jetzt verwendet werden angezeigt wird. Gerätemanager durch Betätigung der Windows- und Pause-Taste aufrufen. Mappe Hardware auswählen DBS-A02-IA-d

9 Mit Klick auf Anschlüsse wird der COM Port angezeigt. Der angezeigte COM Port z. B. COM4 ist entsprechend bei der Übertragungssoftware auszuwählen, s. Kap. 5.. DBS-A02-IA-d

10 4 Einstellungen Feuchtebestimmer Für die Datenübertragung müssen die Kommunikationsparameter (z.b. Baudrate, Bits und Parität) von Feuchtebestimmer und Übertragunssoftware übereinstimmen. 4.1 Schnittstellenparameter 1. Menü mit der Menu-Taste aufrufen, der erste Menüpunkt PRoGRM wird angezeigt. 2. Mit den Navigationstasten Menüpunkt CoM.SET wählen. 3. Mit ENTER-Taste bestätigen, der aktuell eingestellte Port wird angezeigt out.i = RS232 out.2 = USB 4. Mit den Navigationstasten out.2 wählen. 5. Eingabe mit ENTER-Taste speichern, die aktuell eingestellte Baudrate wird angezeigt. 6. Mit den Navigationstasten gewünschte Einstellung auswählen 7. Eingabe mit ENTER-Taste speichern, der nächste Schnittstellenparameter wird angezeigt. Alle Schnittstellenparameter der Reihefolge nach einstellen, dazu jeweils Schritt 6 und 7 wiederholen. 14 In der Übertragungssoftware die Anwendung auswählen, in die Sie die Daten übertragen wollen. Starten Sie Ihr Anwendungsprogramm, lassen dies in einem Fenster im Hintergrund geöffnet und ziehen das Suchwerkzeug bei gedrückter linker Maustaste in das Fenster Ihrer Anwendung und lassen danach die linke Maustaste wieder los. Daraufhin erscheint im Feld unter AUSGEWÄHLTE ANWENDUNG die von Ihnen gewählte Anwendung (z. B. Microsoft Excel). 13 DBS-A02-IA-d-1110

16 Feuchtebestimmung einer Probe starten Nach Start der Feuchtebestimmung erfolgt die Datenausgabe der Kopfzeile. Abhängig von der Einstellung im Ausgabeintervall (s. Kap. 4.2) erfolgt die Ausgabe der Messwerte, z. B. alle 2 Minuten. Ist die Trocknung beendet erfolgt die Ausgabe des Messergebnisses (Fußzeile). Beispiel Protokoll: Kopfzeile: Firma Modell Serien-Nr. This data exchange is asynchronous using ASCII - Code. UBS data is conducted to a virtual port. The scope of delivery for the USB interface cable includes a CD containing software drivers for creating the required virtual ports on the computer. We recommend our transfer software Balance Connection KERN SCD 4.0 for the import of data to a PC program. 2 DBS-A02-IA-e-1110

19 2 USB connection 1. Disconnect the moisture meter from the mains. 2. For installation of USB driver see chpt Plug your USB cable into the USB port of your moisture meter. 4. Plug the USB connector into the USB port on the computer. 5. Turn on moisture meter. 6. For establishing the COM Port see chpt DBS-A02-IA-e

20 3 How to install a driver Ensure that the moisture meter and the PC are not connected to the USB cable. Administrator rights are required. Insert the supplied driver CD into your CD drive. Select the driver version compatible with your system. Example Windows: 4 DBS-A02-IA-e-1110

22 3.1 Define allocation of virtual port Ensure that moisture meter and PC are connected via the USB cable. Turn on moisture meter Wait until the message Hardware has been successfully installed and is ready for use appears on the screen. Call device manager by pressing the Windows and Pause keys. 24 To display COMPort, click on ports. Select the displayed COM Port, such as COM4, accordingly in the transfer software, see chap DBS-A02-IA-e-1110

25 4 Moisture meter settings The communication parameters (such as baud rate, bits and parity) of the moisture meter and the transfer software must be concordant for data transfer to take place. 4.1 Interface parameters 1. Press the Menu button to access the menu and the first menu item PRoGRM will be displayed. 2. Use the navigation buttons to select menu item CoM.SET. 3. Confirm with ENTER key, the currently preset port will be displayed out.i = RS232 out.2 = USB 4. Use the navigation keys to select out Press ENTER to save input and the currently preset baud rate will be displayed. 6. Use the navigation buttons to select the desired setting. 7. Press ENTER to save input, the next interface parameter will be displayed. Set all interface parameters in turn and then repeat steps 6 and 7 in each case. 29 In the transfer software, select the application into which you want to transfer your data. Start your application program, keep it opened in the background and left-click your mouse, keeping the mouse button pressed down, so that you can drag the searching tool with your selected application to the window of your application and then release the mouse button. Afterwards the application selected by you will appear in the box under SELECTED APPLICATION (e.g. Microsoft Excel). DBS-A02-IA-e

31 Start moisture determination for a sample Data output for header will commence immediately after moisture determination was started. Depending on the setting for the output interval (See chap. 4.2), output of measured values will take place for instance every 2 minutes. Le transfert des données est asynchrone et sous forme de codification ASCII. Les données USB sont transmises à un port virtuel. Les fournitures du câble d interface USB comprenant un CD avec le logiciel du transistor de commande permettant de constituer le port virtuel nécessaire sur l ordinateur. 33 2 Raccord USB 1. Couper l analyseur d humidité du secteur. 2. Installer le transistor de commande USB, cf. chap Connecter le câble USB dans la connexion USB de l analyseur d humidité. 4. 34 3 Installer le transistor de commande Veiller à ce que l analyseur d humidité et le PC ne soient pas reliés par le câble USB. Des droits de gestionnaire sont nécessaires à cet effet. Insérer le CD faisant partie des fournitures avec le transistor de commande dans le lecteur de CD. Sélectionner la version de transistor de commande qui convient à votre système. 36 3.1 Mettre en évidence la corrélation du port virtuel Veiller à ce que l analyseur d humidité et le PC soient reliés par le câble. Mettez en marche l analyseur d humidité Attendre que le message Le matériel a été installé et peut maintenant être utilisé soit affiché. Appeler le gestionnaire de la configuration par pression sur la touche Windows et pause. Sélectionner le dossier Matériel 6 DBS-A02-IA-f-1110

39 4 Réglages analyseur d humidité Pour le transfert des données le paramètres de communication (p. ex. vitesse de transmission, bits et parité) doivent coïncider entre l analyseur d humidité et le logiciel de transfert. 4.1 Paramètres d interfaces 1. Appel du menu sur la touche de menu, le premier point du menu PRoGRM est affiché. 2. Sélectionner sur les touches de navigation le point du menu CoM.SET 3. Confirmer sur la touche ENTER, le port actuellement réglé est affiché out.i = RS232 out.2 = USB 4. Sur les touches de navigation choisir out Mémoriser la saisie sur la touche ENTER, la vitesse de transmission en bauds actuellement réglée est affichée. 6. Sélectionner sur les touches de navigation le réglage voulu. 7. Mémoriser la saisie sur la touche ENTER, le prochain paramètre d interface est affiché. Régler tous les paramètres d interface dans l ordre de succession, répéter à cette effet respectivement les démarches 6 et 7. Contrôlez si les paramètres de communication de l analyseur d humidité et du logiciel de transfert coïncident. 43 Sélectionner l application dans le logiciel de transfert, au moyen de laquelle vous voulez transmettre les données. Lancez votre programme d application, laissez-le ouvert dans une fenêtre en arrière-plan et tirez l outil de recherche au dessus de la fenêtre de votre application en gardant la touche de gauche du pointeur enclenchée puis relâchez de nouveau la touche de gauche du pointeur. L application que vous avez choisi apparaît maintenant dans la plage en dessous de APPLICATION SELECTIONNÉE (p. ex. Microsoft Excel). DBS-A02-IA-f

45 Lancer la détermination de l humidité d un échantillon Après le lancement de la détermination de l humidité d un échantillon sont éditées les données de l en-tête. En fonction du réglage de l intervalle d édition (cf. chap. 4.2) a lieu l édition des valeurs de mesure, p. ex. toutes les 2 minutes. Une fois la dessiccation terminée a lieu l édition du résultat de la mesure (bas de page).
