2 Introduction and link designations This catalogue presents currently available FlexLink conveyor chain types, catalogue items as well as special order types. Please consult the FlexLink conveyor catalogue for basic information about our conveyor program, and about conveyor chains. Two forms of product designations are used. Most catalogue products use a designation beginning with X, whereas most non-catalogue products are identified by means of a 7-digit specification number. As a standard the chains come in approximately 5 m lengths (XB, and XT Compact: 3 m). Order cleated chain by specifying cleat type and cleat link frequency as a product designation suffix. A cleat frequency of 8 means that every 8th link is a cleated link. When cleated chain consists of two combined links, other than standard plain chain links (see TP 5/TP 5/...), both links are listed, with the cleated link at the top. Note. Cleated chains are specified using the online configurator. Pin and pivot kits Link kits containing only steel pins and pivots are available. Each kit contains 25 items. 3 Intro Bezeichnungen der n und er In diesem Katalog werden ntypen für aktuell erhältliche FlexLink-Förderer, Katalogartikel sowie Spezialanfertigungen vorgestellt. Bitte beachten Sie den FlexLink- Fördererkatalog für grundlegende Informationen über unsere Fördersysteme und unsere Förderketten. Es werden zwei Arte von Produktbezeichnungen verwendet. Die meisten Katalogprodukte verwenden eine Bezeichnung, die mit X beginnt. Die meisten Produkte, die nicht aus dem Katalog stammen, werden mit einer 7-stelligen Nummer bezeichnet. Die Standardlänge der n beträgt 5 m. (XB, und XT Compact: 3 m). Bestellen Sie Mitnehmerketten durch die Angabe des Mitnehmer-Typs und der Mitnehmer-Wiederholung als Kennziffer der Produktbezeichnung. Zum Beispiel bedeutet eine Mitnehmer-Wiederholung von 8, dass jedes 8. Glied ein Mitnehmerglied ist. Wenn eine Mitnehmerkette aus zwei kombinierten Gliedern und nicht aus glatten Standard-ern besteht (siehe TP 5/TP 5/ ), werden beide Glieder aufgelistet, das Mitnehmerglied zuerst. Hinweis. 4 Selecting the right chain material Links The base link parts of the chain links have the same basic shape, and the same technical properties. Five different materials are used. The standard material is acetal resin (POM). To calculate chain weight, you need to know the chain pitch (see picture), the weight of the plastic pivot, the weight of the steel pin, and the cleat separation. See the following table.
