Druckvorlagen die Sie uns liefern, sind für die Bearbeitung ohne weitere Korrekturen direkt für den Druck vorgesehen. Jede Anlieferung nicht spezifikationsgemäßer Dateien kann die Bearbeitung ihres kompletten Auftrages verzögern und zusätzliche Korrekturkosten verursachen. Die Beachtung dieser Produktionsvorgaben sollte für Sie optimale Ergebnisse sicherstellen und unsere Zusammenarbeit vereinfachen. Wir akzeptieren Daten aus folgenden Layout-, Bildbearbeitungssoftware und Grafikprogrammen: - Adobe PhotoShop, - Adobe Indesign, - Adobe Illustrator, - Macromedia Freehand und - Quark Xpress TM. - oder druckfertige pdfs als Adobe Acrobat PDF. Wir arbeiten jeweils mit den aktuell verfügbaren Mac OSX Programmversionen CS und CS sowie Acrobat. Wir benötigen immer von Ihnen: - eine Montage Ihrer Daten in einem Layoutprogramm nach aktuellen Spezifikationen. - alle im Dokument verwendeten Schriften, insofern sie nicht eingebettet sind oder in Zeichenwege umgewandelt wurden. - alle verwendeten Bilder mit einer Mindestauflösung von: Strichzeichnungen: dpi Graustufenbilder und Farbbilder: dpi - maximaler Gesamtfarbauftrag: % für Lp Sleeves, Gatefolds, Inlays, Discobags.. % für Vinyl-Labels. - Farbprofil: ISOcoated_v _eci.icc Bei Anlieferung von RGB-Bilddaten kommt es durch die notwendige Konvertierung in den CMYK Farbraum zu Farbabweichungen vom ursprünglichen Bild. Sichern Sie deshalb Farbbilder generell im CMYK-Modus. TIFF: Speichern Sie TIFF-Bilddateien ohne Komprimierung (LZW o.ä.) ab. EPS: Dateikodierung binär. JPEG: Bitte stets mit maximaler Qualität und im CMYK-Modus abspeichern. Bitte beachten Sie dass PhotoShop Bilder in einem entsprechenden Layoutprogramm montiert werden müssen. Achten Sie bei der Positionierung Ihrer Bilddaten im entsprechenden Layoutprogramm unbedingt auf die Zugabe des Beschnittes. Bedruckfläche + Beschnitt = benötigte Druckfläche. Montieren Sie Ihre Daten ohne zusätzlichen Weissraum rundum ohne Pass-, Schneide- oder Registermarken. Auf Wunsch senden wir Ihnen Templates in den versch. Layoutprogrammen zu! Strichstärken: Alle Strichstärken sollten nicht unter einer bestimmten Mindestgröße liegen: - im Positivdruck mind., mm - im Negativdruck mind., mm Schriftgrößen: Auch die Schriftgrößen sollten ein Mindestmaß nicht unterschreiten. - im Positivdruck mind. pt - im Negativdruck mind. pt Achten Sie bitte auch bei Verwendung von Serifenschriften und bei bestimmten Schriftschnitten auf die Einhaltung der Mindest-Strichstärken! Verwenden Sie bitte nur postscript-fähige Schriftarten. Als Beispiel sei an dieser Stelle das Drucken der -Etiketten genannt. Hier wäre das Format von x mm je Etikettenseite als Dokumentgröße anzulegen. In der Datenanlage muss zudem der Beschnitt von mm rundum berücksichtigt werden, d. h. das Druckmotiv muss eine Größe von mm aufweisen! Bei einer PDF-Erzeugung wäre dann auch darauf zu achten, dass das PDF-Format dem eigentlichen Format zzgl. Beschnitt, hier also mm, entsprechen muss. Daher dürfen auf dem PDF keinerlei Pass- bzw. Schnittmarken enthalten sein. Eine Entfernung dieser wäre mit zusätzlichem Zeit- und somit auch Kostenaufwand verbunden! Wir produzieren wir Ihre Drucksachen CTP (Computer To Plate) und fertigen keine Filme mehr an. Deshalb ist es unabdingbar, dass die Spezifikationen und PDF-Größenanforderungen der jeweiligen Presswerke genau eingehalten werden. Bei Fragen hierzu hilft Ihnen unsere Grafikabteilung gerne weiter. Bei Anlieferung von komprimierten Daten, bei erforderlichen Eingriffen in die zu belichtenden Dateien oder bei Anlieferung unvollständiger Daten, werden zusätzliche Aufwände nach den jeweils gültigen Stundensätzen berechnet. Im Normalfall erhalten wir von Ihnen den Spezifikationen entsprechende, einwandfreie Dokumente. Nach Erhalt Ihrer Daten überprüfen wir die Druckfähigkeit und Einhaltung der Spezifikationen der jeweiligen Presswerke und erstellen druckfähige Dokumente oder leiten Ihre angelieferten Druck-pdfs an das jeweilige Presswerk weiter. Sollte sich in diesem Prozess herausstellen, dass Probleme beseitigt werden müssen, um ein wunschgemäßes Ergebnis zu erzeugen, bekommen Sie hiervon eine Rückmeldung und haben die Möglichkeit die Lösung selbst herbeizuführen und uns neue Daten zur Verfügung zu stellen oder die Arbeiten (soweit möglich) von uns durchführen zu lassen. Der Zeitaufwand wird Ihnen dann zusätzlich berechnet und in Rechnung gestellt. Mehrfachanlieferung von Druckdaten ist leider auch mit zusätzlichem Aufwand und Kosten verbunden und kann Ihren Druck- und somit Liefertermin hinauszögern. Generell erfolgt der Druck im Industriedruckverfahren und unterliegt den dort üblichen Farbtoleranzen nach europ. ISO Norm. Um eine gewisse Farbtreue gewährleisten zu können, ist es unabdingbar dass Digitalproofs mit aktuell gültigem Fogra-Medienkeil mitgeliefert werden. From the following documents you will be able to obtain the technical information necessary for the graphic design of each single printing component. The layout in the way you send it to us is expected to be ready for direct processing without any further correcting. A delivery of data that is not according our specifications can delay your order and cause correction costs. Attention to these production guidelines should secure you the optimum results and simplify our co-operative work. We can accept data from the following layout/image editing software and graphic programs: - Adobe PhotoShop, - Adobe Indesign, - Adobe Illustrator, - Adobe Acrobat PDF, - Macromedia Freehand and - Quark Xpress TM.. - or printable pdfs as Adobe Acrobat PDF. For each one we work with the currently available program versions Mac OSX CS and CS and also Adobe Acrobat. We always need from you: - A montage of your data in a layout program in according the current specifications. - All fonts that are used in the document, inasmuch as they are not embedded or have been converted. We categorically assume that you are in possession of all necessary font licenses. - All used images with a minimum resolution of: line drawings: dpi grey-scale images: dpi - maximum whole colour application: % for any kind of covers, gatefoldsleeves, discobags... % for vinyllabels. - colour profile: ISOcoated_v _eci.icc When delivering RGB Image data, during the necessary converting in the CMYK range of colours, colour variation to the original image occurs. Therefore please save colour images in CMYK - modus as standard practice. The size of your montage page must be identical to the size of the format which has to be printed. Therefore mount your data without any additional white area, no crop- or registermarks. On top of that a bleed of mm all around must be taken into account on the data layout. This means the printed image must show a total size of mm. When generating a PDF, it should be noted that the PDF format should match the actual format icluding the bleed which in this case is mm. Therefore there should be no registration marks at all on the PDF. Removal of these would lead to additional time and therefore extra costs! Generally we produce your printed matter by CTP (computer to plate) and don't produce films anymore. That is why it is absolutely necessary that you exactly stick to the specifications of the relevant pressing plant. Our Graphics department will help you with any questions as refers this matter. With delivery of compressed data, necessary intervention of the data that is to be developed, or by delivery of incomplete data, additional outlays will be calculated by the appropriate hourly rate. In normal cases we receive from you the correct document according the specifications. After receiving your data, we check if it has been arranged according the specifications and generate high resolution PDF documents. These PDF s or the pdfs you send us, are then forwarded to the relevant pressing plant. Should it turn out in this process that problems need to be solved, you will receive a response, at which point you have the possibility of sending us new data or requesting that we do (if possible) the necessary work. The expenditure of time will then be shown separately in the invoice/bill. Sending printing files repeatedly to the printing agencies is connected with extra work for them and consequently extra costs for you. In general the printing will be done by an industrial printing process connected with the usual color permissible limits according european ISO standard. To guarantee a certain color accuracy it s unalterable to sent digital proofs that follow the present valid FOGRA-standards/settings. It s possible that we do these digital proofs for you. For security reasons, you should only send copies of the data carrier and not the originals!
