2 Sicherheitshinweise $ Die Montage von Elektrokomponenten darf nur von qualifiziertem Fachpersonal durchgeführt werden! Vor den Arbeiten am Strahler diesen unbedingt vom Netz trennen! 0.2m Sicherheitsabstand zu brennbaren Objekten einhalten! Vor allen Arbeiten am Strahler (Montage, Wechsel des Leuchtmittels, Wechsel der Inserts, Ausrichtung des Strahlerkopfs, usf.), Strahler immer ausschalten und mindestens 30 Minuten abkühlen lassen. Vorsicht, Verbrennungsgefahr! Niemals den heißen Strahler/Strahlerkopf (head) berühren! Reparaturarbeiten dürfen nur von autorisiertem Fachpersonal oder dem Hersteller durchgeführt werden. 2

3 Produktbeschreibung Occhio Più alto NV ist ein Niedervolt- Halogen-Strahler der Schutzklasse 2. Der Strahler wird wahlweise mit unterschiedlich bestücktem Strahlerkopf ausgeliefert. 5 Montagemöglichkeit Der Più alto NV-Strahler wird direkt auf eine Hohlraum- oder Einputzdose montiert. Trafo Die Stromversorgung erfolgt über einen externen elektronischen Transformator (Trafo). 5

6 Aufbaudose montieren Grundplatte mit Aufbaudose auf der Rückseite des Strahlers aufklappen. Druckknopf eindrücken und Aufbaudose von der Grundplatte abnehmen. 6

7 Aufbaudose montieren 12V Anschlussleitung Aufbaudose direkt auf die Hohlraum-/ Einputzdose schrauben. Wechsel Montage 7

8 Leuchtmittel einsetzen Niedervolt Halogen Leuchtmittel (max. 60 W) in die Gy 6.35 Fassung des Strahlerkopfs einsetzen. Glaskolben des Leuchtmittels nur mit einem weichen Tuch, nicht mit der bloßen Hand anfassen. Fingerabdrücke auf dem Leuchtmittel vor dem Einschalten der Leuchte mit einem weichen Tuch abwischen. 8

9 9 Wechsel Montage

10 Glaseinsätze/Linse montieren Occhio-Tool (beiliegend) mit dem schmalen Ende in die Nut des Auslösestifts einführen. Occhio-Tool so weit drehen bis der Auslösestift nach oben springt. Glaseinsatz/Glaseinsätze/Linse mit dem Rand in beide Federn einfügen und gegen die Federn drücken. Wird eine Kombination aus zwei Glaseinsätzen verwendet, liegt das satinierte Glas innen. 10

11 Glaseinsätze/Linse montieren In dieser Position den Rand des Glaseinsatzes/der Glaseinsätze/der Linse in die Kerbe des Auslösestifts klemmen. Wechsel Montage Auslösestift bündig eindrücken. Er rastet in Endposition ein. Der Strahlerkopf ist nun komplett vorbereitet. Weitere Installation: Montage Elektrifizierung (siehe S. 16). 11

12 Spot montieren Occhio-Tool (beiliegend) mit dem schmalen Ende in die Nut des Auslösestifts einführen. Occhio-Tool so weit drehen bis der Auslösestift nach oben springt. Gefederte Fassung des Leuchtmittels etwas nach oben halten und gleichzeitig Achtung Verletzungsgefahr! Fassung nicht am Leuchtmittel (Glas) nach oben ziehen, da dieses brechen kann! 12

13 Spot montieren Spot-Reflektor mit der seitlichen Öffnung vorsichtig über das Leuchtmittel und die Fassung schieben. Wechsel Montage Spot-Reflektor mit dem Rand in beide Federn einfügen und gegen die Federn drücken. 13

14 Spot montieren In dieser Position den Rand des Spot- Reflektors in die Kerbe des Auslösestifts klemmen. Korrekte Ausrichtung des Leuchtmittels überprüfen und ggf. korrigieren. Glaseinsatz auf die gleiche Weise in die Federn und die Kerbe des Auslösestifts einsetzen. 14

15 Spot montieren Blendschutzring mit den seitlichen Schlitzen in die Federn einfügen. Dann in die Kerbe des Auslösesifts einsetzen. Wechsel Montage Auslösestift bündig eindrücken. Er rastet in Endposition ein. Der Strahlerkopf ist nun komplett vorbereitet. 15

16 Elektrifizierung $ Achtung! Vor der Montage alle stromführenden Leitungen vom Stromnetz trennen! 230 V 12 V Mitgeliefertes Leuchtenkabel nach Schema an den Trafo anschließen. Trafo fachgerecht elektrifizieren. Trafo Stecker vom Anschlusskabel abziehen. Stecker Buchse 16

17 Elektrifizierung Kabel des Strahlers nach Schema an den Stecker anschließen. Wechsel Montage Buchse des Anschlusskabels vom Trafo mit dem Stecker des Strahlers verbinden. 17

18 Strahler anbringen Befestigungsplatte auf der Rückseite des Strahlers aufklappen. Klemme in den Innenraum der Dose zurückschieben. Druckknopf der Befestigungsplatte eindrücken, mittig auf die Aufbaudose setzen und einrasten. Druckknopf loslassen. Festen Halt des Strahlers prüfen! 18

20 Strahler einstellen $ Achtung Verbrennungsgefahr! Strahler vor Berührung immer abkühlen lassen! 45 Der Più alto Strahler ist rundum 360 drehbar und im Winkel bis 45 ausrichtbar. 360 Zurückgeklappt, wird der Strahler magnetisch fixiert und ist so als reines Downlight einsetzbar. 20

22 Leuchtmittel/Inserts wechseln $ Achtung! Vor der Montage alle stromführenden Leitungen vom Stromnetz trennen! Achtung Verbrennungsgefahr! Strahler vor Berührung immer abkühlen lassen! Occhio-Tool (beiliegend) mit dem schmalen Ende oder Schraubendreher in die Nut des Auslösestifts einführen. Occhio-Tool so weit drehen bis der Auslösestift herausspringt. 22

23 Leuchtmittel/Inserts wechseln Glaseinsatz/Linse gegen die Federn drücken und aus der Nut des Auslösestifts entnehmen. Montieren von Glaseinsätzen/Linse: Montage Glaseinsätze/Linse montieren (siehe S. 10). Wechsel Montage Altes Leuchtmittel entnehmen. Einsetzen des neuen Leuchtmittels: Montage Leuchtmittel einsetzen (siehe S. 8). 23

24 Leuchtmittel/Reflektor wechseln Spot Nur bei Spot S 10/20/40: Blendschutzring gegen die Federn drücken und entnehmen. Glaseinsatz auf die gleiche Weise entnehmen. Reflektorschale gegen die Federn drücken und aus der Kerbe des Auslösestifts lösen. 24

25 Leuchtmittel/Reflektor wechseln Spot Gefederte Fassung des Leuchtmittels etwas nach oben halten und gleichzeitig Spot-Reflektor vorsichtig entnehmen. Achtung Verletzungsgefahr! Fassung nicht am Leuchtmittel (Glas) nach oben ziehen, da dieses brechen kann! Einsetzen des Reflektors: Montage Spot montieren (siehe S. 12). Wechsel Montage Altes Leuchtmittel entnehmen. Einsetzen des neuen Leuchtmittels: Montage Leuchtmittel einsetzen (siehe S. 8). 25

26 Pflegehinweise Zur Reinigung der Metall- als auch der Glasteile der Leuchte empfehlen wir die Verwendung eines Glasreinigers. Leuch te nur in abgekühltem Zu stand reinigen! 26

34 Safety precautions $ 0.2m The assembly and installation of electrical components must be carried out only by qualified personnel. The spotlight must be disconnected from the mains before any work is carried out on it. Maintain the minimum safety distance from flammable materials. Before working on the spotlight (fitting it, changing the bulb or inserts, aligning the spotlight head, etc.), always switch it off and let it cool for at least 30 minutes. Caution, risk of burns. Never touch the spotlight or head while it is hot. Repairs must be carried out only by authorised, qualified personnel or the manufacturer. 34

37 Mounting option The Più alto NV spotlight is mounted directly on a plastering or built-in box. Transformer Power is supplied by an external electronic transformer. 37

38 Mounting the spacing box Fold out the base plate with spacing box on the rear of the spotlight. Depress the push-button and remove the spacing box from the base plate. 38

40 Inserting the bulb Insert the low-voltage halogen bulb (max. 60 W) into the Gy 6.35 socket on the spotlight head. Always use a soft cloth when handling the bulb glass. Never touch it with bare hands. Use a soft cloth to wipe off any finger prints left on the bulb before switching the lamp on. 40

41 41 Changing Fitting

42 Fitting the glass inserts/lens Insert the narrow end of the Occhio tool (supplied) into the groove of the release pin. Turn the Occhio tool until the release pin pops up. Insert the edge of the glass insert(s)/lens into the two springs and press against the springs. If a combination of two glass inserts is used, the frosted glass is fitted on the inside. 42

43 Fitting the glass inserts/lens Holding it in this position, clip the edge of the glass insert(s)/lens into the notch on the release pin. Changing Fitting Press the release pin in until it is flush. It clicks into its end position. The spotlight head is now fully assembled. Proceed to: Fitting Electrification (see p. 48). 43

44 Fitting the spot Insert the narrow end of the Occhio tool (supplied) into the groove of the release pin. Turn the Occhio tool until the release pin pops up. Lift the spring-mounted bulb socket slightly and hold it Caution, risk of injury. Do not lift the socket by the bulb (glass), as this could break the bulb. 44

45 Fitting the spot while at the same time carefully pushing the spot reflector over the bulb and socket through the side opening. Changing Fitting Insert the edge of the spot reflector into both springs and press against the springs. 45

46 Fitting the spot In this position, clip the edge of the spot reflector into the notch on the release pin. Check whether the bulb is correctly aligned, and adjust if required. In the same way, insert the glass insert into the springs and the notch on the release pin. 46

47 Fitting the spot Insert the side slots of the anti-glare ring into the springs. Then insert into the notch on the release pin. Changing Fitting Press the release pin in until it is flush. It clicks into its end position. The spotlight head is now fully assembled. 47

48 Electrification $ Caution Before fitting, disconnect all currentcarrying lines from the mains supply. 230 V 12 V Connect the bulb cable supplied to the transformer as shown in the diagram. Ensure that the transformer is properly electrically connected. Transformer Remove the plug from the connecting cable. Plug Pluggable terminal block 48

49 Electrification Connect the spotlight cable to the connector as shown in the wiring diagram. Changing Fitting Connect the connecting cable terminal block from the transformer to the spotlight connector. 49

50 Fitting the spotlight Fold out the mounting plate on the rear of the spotlight. Insert the terminal into the interior of the box. Depress the push-button in the mounting plate, position it centrally over the spacing box and engage in place. Release the push-button. Check the spotlight to ensure it is fastened securely. 50

52 Adjusting the spotlight $ Caution, risk of burns. Always let the spotlight cool before touching it. 45 The Più alto spotlight can be rotated through 360 and adjusted to an angle of up to When it is folded back the spotlight is magnetically secured and can be used purely as a downlighter. 52

54 Changing the bulb/inserts $ Caution Before fitting, disconnect all currentcarrying lines from the mains supply. Caution, risk of burns. Always let the spotlight cool before touching it. Insert the narrow end of the Occhio tool (supplied) or a screwdriver into the groove of the release pin. Turn the Occhio tool until the release pin pops out. 54

55 Changing the bulb/inserts Press the glass insert/lens against the springs and remove from the groove on the release pin. To fit the glass inserts/lens, see: Fitting Fitting the glass inserts/lens (see p. 42). Changing Fitting Remove the old bulb. To insert the new bulb, see: Fitting Inserting the bulb (see p. 40). 55

56 Changing the bulb/reflector spot On spot S 10/20/40 only: Press the anti-glare ring against the springs and remove it. Remove the glass insert in the same way. Press the bowl against the springs and detach it from the notch on the release pin. 56

57 Changing the bulb/reflector spot Lift the spring-mounted socket on the bulb slightly upwards, while at the same time removing the spot reflector. Caution, risk of injury. Do not lift the socket by the bulb (glass), as this could break the bulb. To insert the reflector, see: Fitting Fitting the spot (see p. 44). Changing Fitting Remove the old bulb. To insert the new bulb, see: Fitting Inserting the bulb (see p. 40). 57

58 Care instructions To clean both the metal and the glass parts of the lamp, we recommend using a glass cleaner. Always allow the lamp to cool down before cleaning. 58
