2 Sicherheitshinweise $ Die Montage von Elektrokomponenten darf nur von qualifiziertem Fachpersonal durchgeführt werden! Vor den Arbeiten am Strahler diesen unbedingt vom Netz trennen! 0.2m Sicherheitsabstand zu brennbaren Objekten einhalten! Vor allen Arbeiten am Strahler (Montage, Wechsel des Leuchtmittels, Wechsel der Inserts, Ausrichtung des Strahlerkopfs, usf.), Strahler immer ausschalten und mindestens 30 Minuten abkühlen lassen. Vorsicht, Verbrennungsgefahr! Niemals den heißen Strahler/Strahlerkopf (head) berühren! Reparaturarbeiten dürfen nur von autorisiertem Fachpersonal oder dem Hersteller durchgeführt werden. 2

3 Produktbeschreibung Occhio Più alto HV ist ein Hochvolt- Halogen-Strahler der Schutzklasse 2. Der Strahler wird wahlweise mit unterschiedlich bestücktem Strahlerkopf ausgeliefert. 5 Montagemöglichkeit 230V Der Più alto HV-Strahler wird direkt auf eine Hohlraum- oder Einputzdose montiert. (Alternativ ist auch die Deckenmontage in Position eines Kabelauslasses ohne Hohlraum- oder Einputzdose möglich.) Die Stromversorgung erfolgt an einem Deckenauslaß mit 230V Netzspannung. 5

6 Aufbaudose montieren Grundplatte mit Aufbaudose auf der Rückseite des Strahlers aufklappen. Druckknopf eindrücken und Aufbaudose von der Grundplatte abnehmen. 6

7 Aufbaudose montieren Schwarzen Terminalring aus der Aufbaudose entnehmen. Wechsel Montage Aufbaudose direkt auf die Hohlraum-/ Einputzdose schrauben. 7

8 Elektrifizierung $ Achtung! Vor der Montage alle stromführenden Leitungen vom Stromnetz trennen! Netzleitungen durch die Öffnung der Aufbaudose führen. Netzseitige Erdungsleitung nach Schema mit der Klemme des Erdungs kabels verbinden. Netzseitige Phase und Nulleiter nach Schema mit den Klemmen des Terminalrings verbinden. 220V 8

9 Elektrifizierung Klemmen in den Innenraum der Dose zurückschieben. Terminalring so in die Aufbaudose einlegen, Wechsel Montage dass die Erdungsklemme von der Isolierkappe abgedeckt wird. 9

10 Leuchtmittel einsetzen Hochvolthalogen Leuchtmittel in die G9 Stiftfassung des heads einsetzen. Den Glaskolben des Leuchtmittels nur mit einem weichen Tuch, nicht mit der bloßen Hand anfassen. Fingerabdrücke auf dem Leuchtmittel vor dem Einschalten der Leuchte mit einem weichen Tuch abwischen. Die Kontakte des Leuchtmittels müssen parallel ausgerichtet sein! Leuchtmittel immer gerade einsetzen! 10

11 11 Wechsel Montage

12 Glaseinsätze/Linse montieren Occhio-Tool (beiliegend) mit dem schmalen Ende in die Nut des Auslösestifts einführen. Occhio-Tool so weit drehen bis der Auslösestift nach oben springt. Glaseinsatz/Glaseinsätze/Linse mit dem Rand in beide Federn einfügen und gegen die Federn drücken. Wird eine Kombination aus zwei Glaseinsätzen verwendet, liegt das satinierte Glas innen. 12

13 Glaseinsätze/Linse montieren In dieser Position den Rand des Glaseinsatzes/der Glaseinsätze/der Linse in die Kerbe des Auslösestifts klemmen. Wechsel Montage Auslösestift bündig eindrücken. Er rastet in Endposition ein. Der Strahlerkopf ist nun komplett vorbereitet. 13

14 Strahler anbringen Befestigungsplatte auf der Rückseite des Strahlers aufklappen. Druckknopf der Befestigungsplatte eindrücken, mittig auf die Aufbaudose setzen und einrasten. Druckknopf loslassen. Festen Halt des Strahlers prüfen! 14

16 Strahler einstellen $ Achtung Verbrennungsgefahr! Strahler vor Berührung immer abkühlen lassen! 45 Der Più alto Strahler ist rundum 360 drehbar und im Winkel bis 45 ausrichtbar. 360 Zurückgeklappt ist der Strahler als reines Downlight einsetzbar. 16

18 Leuchtmittel/Inserts wechseln $ Achtung! Vor der Montage alle stromführenden Leitungen vom Stromnetz trennen! Achtung Verbrennungsgefahr! Strahler vor Berührung immer abkühlen lassen! Occhio-Tool (beiliegend) mit dem schmalen Ende oder Schraubendreher in die Nut des Auslösestifts einführen. Occhio-Tool so weit drehen bis der Auslösestift herausspringt. 18

19 Leuchtmittel/Inserts wechseln Glaseinsatz/Linse gegen die Federn drücken und aus der Nut des Auslösestifts entnehmen. Einsetzen von Inserts: Montage Glaseinsätze/Linse montieren (siehe S. 12). Wechsel Montage Altes Leuchtmittel entnehmen. Einsetzen des neuen Leuchtmittels: Montage Leuchtmittel einsetzen (siehe S. 10). 19

20 Pflegehinweise Zur Reinigung der Metall- als auch der Glasteile der Leuchte empfehlen wir die Verwendung eines Glasreinigers. Leuch te nur in abgekühltem Zu stand reinigen! 20

26 Safety precautions $ The assembly and installation of electrical components must be carried out only by qualified personnel. The spotlight must be disconnected from the mains before any work is carried out on it. 0.2m Maintain the minimum safety distance from flammable materials. Before working on the spotlight (fitting it, changing the bulb or inserts, aligning the spotlight head, etc.), always switch it off and let it cool for at least 30 minutes. Caution, risk of burns. Never touch the spotlight or head while it is hot. Repairs must be carried out only by authorised, qualified personnel or the manufacturer. 26

29 Mounting option 230V The Più alto HV spotlight is mounted directly on a plastering or built-in box. (As an alternative, it is also possible to mount it on the ceiling without a plastering or built-in box when positioned at a cable outlet.) Power is supplied by a ceiling outlet with 230 V mains voltage. 29

30 Mounting the spacing box Fold out the base plate with spacing box on the rear of the spotlight. Depress the push-button and remove the spacing box from the base plate. 30

31 Mounting the spacing box Remove the black terminal ring from the spacing box. Changing Fitting Screw the spacing box directly to the plastering/built-in box. 31

32 Electrification $ Caution Before fitting, disconnect all currentcarrying lines from the mains supply. Route the power cable through the opening in the spacing box. Connect the mains earthing wire to the earthing cable terminal as shown in the wiring diagram. Connect the live and neutral wires to the terminals on the terminal ring as shown in the wiring diagram. 220V 32

33 Electrification Insert the terminals into the interior of the box. Insert the terminal ring into the spacing box so that Changing Fitting the earthing terminal is covered by the insulating cap. 33

34 Inserting the bulb Insert the high-voltage halogen bulb into the G9 pin socket of the head. Always use a soft cloth when handling the bulb glass. Never touch it with bare hands. Use a soft cloth to wipe off any finger prints left on the bulb before switching the lamp on. The contacts on the bulb must be parallel. Always insert the bulb in a straight line. 34

35 35 Changing Fitting

36 Fitting the glass inserts/lens Insert the narrow end of the Occhio tool (supplied) into the groove of the release pin. Turn the Occhio tool until the release pin pops up. Insert the edge of the glass insert(s)/lens into the two springs and press against the springs. If a combination of two glass inserts is used, the frosted glass is fitted on the inside. 36

37 Fitting the glass inserts/lens Holding it in this position, clip the edge of the glass insert(s)/lens into the notch on the release pin. Changing Fitting Press the release pin in until it is flush. It clicks into its end position. The spotlight head is now fully assembled. 37

38 Fitting the spotlight Fold out the mounting plate on the rear of the spotlight. Depress the push-button in the mounting plate, position it centrally over the spacing box and engage in place. Release the push-button. Check the spotlight to ensure it is fastened securely. 38

40 Adjusting the spotlight $ Caution, risk of burns. Always let the spotlight cool before touching it. 45 The Più alto spotlight can be rotated through 360 and adjusted to an angle of up to When it is folded back the spotlight can be used purely as a downlighter. 40

42 Changing the bulb/inserts $ Caution Before fitting, disconnect all currentcarrying lines from the mains supply. Caution, risk of burns. Always let the spotlight cool before touching it. Insert the narrow end of the Occhio tool (supplied) or a screwdriver into the groove of the release pin. Turn the Occhio tool until the release pin pops out. 42

43 Changing the bulb/inserts Press the glass insert/lens against the springs and remove from the groove on the release pin. To insert the inserts, see: Fitting Fitting the glass inserts/lens (see p. 36). Changing Fitting Remove the old bulb. To insert the new bulb, see: Fitting Inserting the bulb (see p. 34). 43

44 Care instructions To clean both the metal and the glass parts of the lamp, we recommend using a glass cleaner. Always allow the lamp to cool down before cleaning. 44
