Montageanleitung OP-CP-VESAKIT 1. Informationen zur Bedienungsanleitung Die Bedienungsanleitung hilft Ihnen bei der Montage, beim Einrichten und beim Bedienen der Wandhalterung. Bitte lesen Sie sie einmal vollständig durch, da Informationen, die mehrere Kapitel betreffen, nur einmal gegeben werden. 2. Verwendung und Funktion Grundsätzliches Die Halterung OP-CP-VESAKIT ist zur Befestigung der CP Geräteserie PD-CP42AU PD-CP42CM PD-CP32AU PD-AC-42AH PD-AC-42CM PD-AC-32AU konstruiert und gebaut. Wandmontage oder Montage an einem Träger ist möglich. Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung Diese Wandhalterung darf ausschließlich zur Befestigung der CP Geräteserie von Richardson Electronics GmbH verwendet werden. Die in den Technischen Daten angegebenen Umgebungsbedingungen, Belastungen und Montagehinweise müssen eingehalten werden. Eine andere oder darüber hinausgehende Verwendung gilt nicht als bestimmungsgemäß. Zur bestimmungsgemäßen Verwendung gehört auch das genaue Beachten dieser Bedienungsanleitung. Linsenkopfschraube M4 x 10mm Bedienungsanleitung Bewahren Sie Karton und Verpackungsmaterial für einen späteren Transport bzw. Versand Ihrer Wandhalterung auf. Folgende Ausführungen sind lieferbar Version OP-CP-VESAKIT Beschreibung Halterung für CP Serie Monitore Transportschäden Offensichtliche Transportschäden müssen sofort bei Empfang der Ware mit dem anliefernden Spediteur schriftlich festgehalten werden. Verdeckte Transportschäden müssen innerhalb von 2 Arbeitstagen dem Lieferanten schriftlich zur Anzeige gebracht werden. Defekte oder beschädigte Teile dürfen nicht montiert werden. 3. Montageanweisung 3.1 Vorbereitung Es wird ausdrücklich empfohlen, die Installation durch einen Fachmann ausführen zu lassen. Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Tragfähigkeit der Wand für das Gewicht des Bildschirmes und der Halterung ausreichend ist. Bei Zweifeln betreffend der Beschaffenheit und Belastbarkeit der Wand wenden Sie sich an einen Fachmann aus der Baubranche. Das Befestigungsmaterial muss auf die Beschaffenheit der Wand abgestimmt sein. Aus diesem Grund wird die Halterung ohne Befestigungsmaterial ausgeliefert. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass in der Wand keine Ver- und Entsorgungsleitungen liegen. 2008 Canvys Seite 5
Montageanleitung OP-CP-VESAKIT Die Befestigung der Halterung sollte mit Hilfe einer Wasserwaage durchgeführt werden, bei schiefer Montage wird die Belastbarkeit der Halterung gemindert. Bei der Montage an einem Tragarm oder Halter muss dieser bezüglich Belastbarkeit und Standfestigkeit auch in ausgefahrener Position für das Gewicht des Monitors und der Halterung ausgelegt sein. 4 1 6 2 7 8 3 5 3.2 Montage der Wandplatte Bringen Sie die VESA Wandplatte (2) in die gewünschte Position. Richten Sie die Platte am besten mit einer Wasserwaage aus und zeichnen Sie folgend die Befestigungslöcher (6) und (7) an. Mit den zu Ihrer Befestigungsmethode passenden Befestigungsteilen wird die VESA Wandplatte montiert. Die oberen Bohrungen (6) sind als Schlüssellöcher ausgebildet, somit ist ein einfaches Einhängen möglich. Seite 6 2008 Canvys
Montageanleitung OP-CP-VESAKIT 3.3 Montage am Tragarm Für die Tragarm / Haltermontage sind in der VESA Wandplatte (2) mehrere Bohrbilder vorgesehen. Bitte benutzen Sie diese für die Befestigung am Tragarm / Halter. 3.4 Montage der Geräteträger Legen Sie Ihren Monitor mit der Bildschirmseite nach unten auf ein Ebene, gepolsterte Unterlage. Der linke und der rechte Geräteträger (1) werden mit den mitgelieferten M4 Schrauben auf der Rückseite des Monitors (5) befestigt. Ausrichtung siehe Bild. Um den Monitor bequem in die Wandplatte einhängen zu können, werden die oberen Verbindungsschrauben (4) in die Geräteträger geschraubt. Diese jedoch nur soweit einschrauben, dass das einhängen mit Spiel noch möglich ist (5 mm Abstand zwischen Blech und Schraubenkopf). 3.5 Gesamtmontage Hängen Sie den Bildschirm von oben mit den bereits montierten Schrauben (4) in den Wandhalter ein. Mit unteren Befestigungsschrauben wird der Monitor fixiert. Nachdem der gewünschte Neigungswinkel eingestellt ist, werden auch die oberen Schrauben (4) angezogen. 4. Gewährleistung Richardson Electronics GmbH gewährleistet, dass die gelieferten Produkte weder Material- noch Verarbeitungsfehler aufweisen und dass diese Produkte im Wesentlichen den angegebenen Spezifikationen und Zeichnungen von Richardson Electronics GmbH entsprechen. Die Gewährleistungszeit beginnt mit dem Tag der Auslieferung. Richardson Electronics GmbH bewilligt eine Gewährleistung von 12 Monaten, sofern es zwischen Käufer und Richardson Electronics GmbH keine anderen Vereinbarungen gibt. Montageanleitung OP-CP-VESAKIT defekte Teil oder nicht übereinstimmendes Zubehör binnen 30 Tage nach Eingang der Reklamation zu Richardson Electronics GmbH zurückschicken. Es dürfen keinerlei Produkte ohne vorherige Genehmigung an Richardson Electronics GmbH zurückgeschickt werden. Die Gewährleistung tritt nicht in Kraft, wenn der Käufer eine unsachgemäße oder unzureichende Wartung durchgeführt hat, eine unerlaubte Modifizierungen des Produktes vorgenommen hat, das Produkt außerhalb seiner bestimmungsgemäßen Verwendung eingesetzt oder außerhalb seiner Spezifikationen in Betrieb genommen hat, 5. Assembly instruction OP-CP-VESAKIT 7. About This Manual This user manual is intended as an aid in installing, setting up and operating the wall mount unit. Please note that information pertinent to several chapters is given only once. Therefore, carefully read the manual once in its entirety. 8. Application and Functional Description Some Basic Facts The mounting unit OP-CP-VESAKIT is a universal kit for mounting CP monitors. It can be used for wall mounting, VESA mounting as well as support arm mounting. It may used for PD-CP42AU PD-CP42CM PD-CP32AU PD-AC-42AH PD-AC-42CM PD-AC-32AU Intended Use The wall mount unit is for exclusive purpose of mounting Richardson CP-Series monitors. The ambient conditions stated in the "Technical Specifications" chapter must be observed at all times. The flat-panel display is intended for commercial use only. The mounting unit is intended for uses other than those described above. The intended use includes close observance of the information given in this user manual. Page 10 2008 Canvys

Models Version OP-CP-VESAKIT Description Wall mount unit for CP Series Transport Damage If the equipment has obviously suffered damage in transit, a claim should be filed immediately (in writing) with the shipping agent. The shipping agent must be informed of hidden damage in transit in writing within 2 work days. 9. Assembly instruction 9.1 Preparing Mounting It is expressly recommended to have installation carried out by a specialist. Make sure that the quality of the wall is sufficient to hold the weight of the screen including the weight of the mount. If there is any doubt regarding the condition and load bearing of the wall, please consult a specialist from the building trade. The fixing materials must be suitable for the type of wall, so that the maximum load bearing of the wall can be guaranteed. For this reason 2008 Canvys Page 11
Assembly instruction OP-CP-VESAKIT no fixing materials have been included with your wall mount. Please ask a specialist, giving the relevant details. Also make sure that there are no electricity cables or gas/water pipes in the wall. Use a spirit level when attaching the wall mount. Crooked attachment will reduce stability. 4 1 6 2 7 8 9.2 Mount the Wall plate 3 5 Position the VESA mounting plate (2) at the desired location. Adjust the mounting plate by a spirit level. Mark the mounting holes (6) and (7) (please see chapter 15 Dimensions / Abmessungen). Use the appropriated fixing material to mount the plate to the wall. 9.3 Support arm mounting The VESA mounting plate has some different possibilities ( e.g. VESA 200) for arm mounting (please see chapter 15 Dimensions / Abmessungen). Assembly instruction OP-CP-VESAKIT 9.4 Mounting the brackets to the monitor Put your monitor with the display screen downward on level, padded table. The left and the right equipment support (1) become with the M4 provided screws on the back of the monitor (5) fastened. For adjustment see picture. To hang up the monitor comfortably into the wall plate the upper connecting bolts (4) screwed into the equipment supports. These however only so far screw in that hang up that with play is still possible (5 mm distance between sheet metal and screw head) 9.5 System mounting Hang the screen from the upper side with the screws already installed (4) into the wall plate. With lower fixing bolts the monitor is fixed. After the desired angle of inclination is adjusted, also the upper screws (4) become tightened. 10. Warranty Richardson Electronics GmbH warrants the products supplied to be free from defects in material and workmanship and to perform essentially in accordance with the Richardson Electronics GmbH specifications and drawings. The warranty period begins on the delivery date. Richardson Electronics GmbH warrants the Wall mount Unit for a period of 12 months, unless other agreements are made between the customer and Richardson Electronics GmbH. The customer is required to return the defective unit or deviating accessories not later than 30 days after Richardson Electronics GmbH was notified in writing of the complaint. It is not permitted to return products without prior approval by Richardson Electronics GmbH. The warranty becomes null and void, if the customer 2008 Canvys Page 13
