3 CASAFLEX UNO 3 Verlegung und Montage von CASAFLEX Rohren Laying and installation of CASAFLEX pipes Spannbänder fixing ribbons Verlegung (Skizze) Spannbänder nacheinander von außen nach innen durchtrennen und Ring im Graben (oder neben dem Graben) abrollen. Laying the pipe (sketch) Cut the fixing ribbons one after the other from the outside inwards and roll the pipe out into the trench (or next to the trench). Rohrende richten (Skizze) Außenmantel auf ca. 60 C wärmen (Oberfläche glänzt) und im eingespannten Zustand abkühlen. Biegeschiene vom Rohr lösen. Alternativ: Hydraulik-Biegegerät! Position end of pipe (sketch) Warm up the outer jacket up to 60 C (jacket shines) and let it cool down fixed. Release pipe from bending slide rail. Alternatively: use a hydraulic bending machine! 3. ca. 60 C approx 60 C Verlegung und Montage bei tiefen Außentemperaturen (< 5 C) Ring wenn möglich in einer geheizten Halle lagern oder mit Heizstrahlern Außenmantel wärmen und dann sofort verlegen. Rohrende wie oben beschrieben richten. Laying and installation at low external temperatures (< 5 C) If possible store coil indoors or warm up the outer jacket with a radiant heater and lay immediately. 5 Rohrvorbereitung für CASAFLEX-Anschlussverbindung Preparing the pipe for the CASAFLEX connecting piece CASAFLEX UNO 5 3. Mantel 200 mm vom Ende rundherum markieren. Mark off a line around the circumference of the pipe jacket 200 mm from the end. 4. Mantel maximal 5 mm tief rundherum ansägen Streckgitter mit durchtrennen! Saw around the circumference of the jacket to a maximum depth of 5 mm cut through the expanding mesh as well! 5. Mantel mit Sicherheitsmesser längs einschneiden. Cut into the jacket in a longitudinal direction using the safety knife. 6. Mantel mit Schraubendreher anheben und mit der Hand entfernen. Lift the jacket using the screwdriver and remove it by hand.

6 CASAFLEX UNO 6 7. Rohrende ohne Mantel. Pipe end without jacket. 8. Schaum im Bereich der Überlappung des Streckgitters (gegenüber den Meldeadern) entfernen. Remove the foam from the expanding mesh where it overlaps (opposite the monitoring leads). 9. Streckgitter mit Schraubendreher abhebeln und entfernen. Lever off the expanding mesh using the screwdriver and remove it. 10. Freilegen der Meldeadern. Expose the monitoring leads.

7 CASAFLEX UNO mm 11. Fixierung der Meldeadern am Außenmantel. Secure the monitoring leads to the outer jacket. 12. Anzeichnen 150 mm Rohrlänge. Mark off 150 mm of the pipe length. 13. Absägen der Rohrlänge Saw off the pipe length. 14. Schaum vom verbliebenen Rohr bis zum Außenmantel entfernen. Wellrohr nicht beschädigen! Remove the foam from the remaining pipe as far as the outer jacket. Take care not to damage the corrugated pipe!

8 Montage der Anschlussverbindung Installing the connection unit CASAFLEX UNO 8 L Rohr von innen mit Heißluftfön anwärmen keine Anlauffarben! Rohrende mit Edelstahl-Drahtbürste metallisch blank säubern und entstauben. Achtung: Rohroberfläche ist Dichtfläche! Warm up the pipe from inside using the hot-air blower Take care there is no discolouration! Clean pipe end to the flare surface with steel brush and make it free from dust. Attention: pipe surface = seal surface! Rohr im Wellental beginnend am Druckring (3) entlang gerade absägen. Druckring (3) beim Sägen festhalten oder mit Klebeband fixieren. Achtung! Druckring (3) nach Sägevorgang entfernen! Saw off the pipe in a straight line along the trough of the corrugation starting at the pressure ring (3). Hold the pressure ring (3) in position while sawing or fix it with adhesive tape. Attention! Remove the pressure ring (3) after sawing! 16. Druckring (3) zum Absägen des Wellrohres aufdrehen. Maß L einhalten: DN 20 und DN 25 = 60 mm DN 32 und DN 40 = 70 mm Screw on the pressure ring (3) for sawing off. Keep to the measurement L: DN 20 and DN 25 = 60 mm DN 32 and DN 40 = 70 mm 18. Druckring zurückschrauben. Wellrohrende mit Halbrundfeile sauber entgraten. Das Rohr außen und innen nicht beschädigen! Back off the pressure ring. Remove any burs using the half-round file till it is quite clean. Take care not to damage the pipe outside and inside!

9 CASAFLEX UNO Späne mit Pinsel entfernen. Remove filings using the brush. 20. Anschlussstück (2) in das Wellrohr schrauben. Screw the connection piece (2) into the corrugated pipe. 21. Wichtig: Anschlussstück (2) muss handfest aufgeschraubt sein. Important: the connection piece (2) must be screwed in hand-tight Druckring (3) mit Hilfe der Schiebhülse (1) einstellen. Dafür Schiebehülse (1) an Anschlussstücknut halten und den Druckring (3) an die Schiebehülse (1) zurückschrauben. Adjust the pressure ring (3) with the help of the slideon sleeve (1). To do this, hold the slide-on sleeve (1) against the groove of the connecting piece and screw the pressure ring (3) back to the slide-on sleeve (1). 1

10 CASAFLEX UNO Position des Druckringes (3) für weitere Montage markieren. Mark the position of the pressure ring (3) for the further installation. 24. Grafitdichtung (4) aufschieben. Push on the graphite sealing ring (4). 25. Grafitdichtung (4) im aufgeschobenen Zustand. Assembly with graphite sealing ring (4) pushed on Schiebehülse (1) montieren. Install the slide-on sleeve (1). 1

11 CASAFLEX UNO Schiebehülse (1) bis Anschlag über die Dichtung schieben. Slide on the slide-on sleeve (1) over the seal till it will go no further. 28. Montagewerkzeug montieren: Zuerst den vorderen Montageflansch mit Durchgangsbohrungen über das Anschlussstück (5) schieben. Assembling the installation set: First push the front mounting flange with the through holes over the connection piece (5). 29. Den vorderen Montageflansch gegen die Schiebehülse (1) schieben. Push the front mounting flange against the slide-on sleeve (1) Anschließend den geteilten Flansch anbringen. Achtung: Die Gewindeseite muss Richtung Schaumende montiert werden! Then position the split flange. Attention! Position the split flange with the threaded holes at the rear end (infront of the foam).

12 CASAFLEX UNO Montageflansche des Montagewerkzeugs bis zu den Stoßflächen der Anschlussverbindung schieben. Push the mounting flange of the installation set up against the contact surfaces of the connection unit. 32. Grafitpaste auf Gewinde der Innensechskantschrauben aufbringen. Lubricate the thread of the Allen screws with the graphite paste. 33. Die Innensechskantschrauben in die Montageflansche des Montagewerkzeugs schrauben. Screw the Allen screws into the mounting flanges of the installation set. 34. Die Innensechskantschrauben mit Innensechskantschlüssel (DN 20, DN 25: SW 6; DN 32, DN 40: SW 8) leicht anziehen. Achtung: Montageflansche beim Anziehen gegen Verdrehen sichern! Tighten the Allen screws gently using an Allen wrench (DN 20, DN 25: SW 6; DN 32, DN 40: SW 8). Attention: Take care to secure the mounting flanges against turning when tightening the screws!

13 CASAFLEX UNO Zum Verpressen alle Innensechskantschrauben im Uhrzeigersinn anziehen. To press in the connection, screw all the Allen screws tight clockwise. 36. Montageflansche des Montagewerkzeugs bis Anschlag festziehen. Danach Verpresswerkzeug demontieren. Screw the mounting flanges of the installation set tight as far as they will go. Then dismantle the compression set Fertige Anschlussverbindung. Achtung: Druckring (3) muss bündig in der Schiebehülse (1) sitzen. The finished connection fitting. Mount the protection caps, the detector wires push out. Die in dieser Montageanleitung aufgeführten Werkzeuge zum Verpressen der Anschlussverbindung können bei BRUGG erworben werden.
