3 COURSE DESCRIPTION Course objectives: Learning outcomes On successful completion of this course, student should be able to: Preparing students to use German language correctly and appropriately in everyday situations in private life as well as in the workplace. Developing all language skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing). Acquiring vocabulary and grammar. 1. define basic concepts used in everyday situations and in the workplace related to the following topics: orientation in a city, clothes, family and relatives, parties, cultural sights in Germany and Croatia, applying for a job, planning a vacation, jobs in tourism 2. describe cultural sights in Croatia and Split, in Germany and Berlin, compare Croatian and German education systems 3. apply grammar rules related to the following units: Imperativ. Ordnungszahlen. Possessivartikel. Modalverben. Personalpronomen Dativ/Akkusativ. Perfekt der unregelmäßigen Verben. Präpositionen mit Dativ/ Akkusativ. Kausalsätze.
