3 Einleitung: Vorteile des Teilnehmerportals Das Teilnehmerportal bietet eine einheitliche Benutzeroberfläche für alle Interaktionen mit der Europäischen Kommission und den Agenturen für Fö rdergelder: Eindeutige Kennung jeder Person durch ECAS (European Commission Authentication Service ) Registrierung. Verschiedene Rollen und Zugangsrechte Ergebnis: personalisierte Dienste auf dem Portal Zugang zu Teilnehmerregistrierung, Vertragsverhandlungen, Änderungen, finanzielle und wissenschaftliche Berichterstattung, Experten-Service Bringt Homogenität, Transparenz und besseren Service für die Integration der Verwaltung der Finanzhilfen.

11 How to register for an ECAS account? NEXT

12 NEXT The ECAS User Registration Form opens Fill in the field using your individual professional address. Note: the is the main identifier (1 person = 1 address = 1 ECAS account) No functional address! Fill in the Security check field Tick the check box and click on Sign up

13 NEXT Check your mailbox, a confirmation will arrive within a few minutes. This process must be completed within 1 hour and a half after the original request.

16 NEXT Your new ECAS password is successfully created. You can now log in to the Portal. Important: ECAS credentials are strictly confidential!

52 Once you are connected to the secured environment of the Participant Portal, select "My Projects"tab The list of the projects you are involved will be displayed. On the right side of the screen, the link Access Negotiation is displayed only once the negotiations are open by the Commission Note that for some projects, a link to Access Amendment is provided. It is displayed only once a grant agreement has been signed and amendments are requested

54 Accessing the reporting functions 2. Once you are connected to the secured environment of the Participant Portal, select MyProjects tab 3. The list of the projects you are involved with will be displayed. (See Figure 44: Access to Reporting applications ). 4. For any of your project that is in the "Active" phase, you can access both the technical reporting (Reporting & Deliverables ) as the financial one, (Form C). Once you have clicked on the link, you will be redirected to the right supporting application.

57 NEXT Original roles Some roles are automatically provisioned in the early stages of the Project ( original roles ): The Coordinator Contact identified in the proposal will be recognised by the Commission as the Primary Coordinator Contact for the Participant Portal. Thecontact persons of the participating organisations identified duringproposal submissionwill become Participant Contacts at the beginning of negotiations. The LEAR (Legal Entity Appointed Representative) is validated by the Validation Services during the validation process of the organisation.
