With this in mind we need to make you aware that in a small number of instances, the weld seams on the bracket used for brake adjustment on the backplate may not have been fully completed. In these conditions this could result in the brake assembly not functioning correctly which may pose a risk to its functionality. Accordingly, our records indicate that you may be affected and as a consequence we require a check of the brake assemblies on your vehicle / trailer. Appendices Processing, payment and return of used parts 1. Contact a specialist workshop of your choice and make an appointment to check the axle. 2. Present this letter to the workshop. 3. If the axle or brake needs to be re-welded or removed, have the rework certificate completed by the workshop. 5. It is essential that you have proof of the re-welding (photo) or the replaced part handed over to you. 6.
