Neurology 2016 1 Ratios for thrombolytic therapy of patients admitted in the 4.5h time-window according to stroke service levels, denominator was the number of patients admitted for treatment of AIS in the 4.5h time window (according to Kruyt ND et al. Stroke 2013;44:3249 3253) Predictors of the TR were identified by robust Poisson regression modeling, taking into account interactions between stroke service level and patient-level variables. The resulting model was also used to determine the hypothetical TR if all patients had been treated at the highest service level. (the model included sex, age, premorbid mrs score, NIHSS score, diabetes, previous stroke, atrial fibrillation, ventilation, pneumonia, thrombosis or pulmonary embolism, level of stroke care, and length of hospital stay).
