5 As part of the intermodal supply chain DB Intermodal Services offers depot and terminal services as well as Pick-Up/delivery via truck Container depot Transshipment terminal In the transshipment terminal containers are loaded onto trucks or are stored until they are ready for delivery. For longterm storage containers are brought into the container depot. Maintenance and repair services are offered for empty containers in the service center. For long-term storage until the customer can pick them up, they can also be stored in the container depot. As soon as the customer is ready to receive its containers the empty containers are delivered via truck. Pick-Up/Delivery Service Center 5

7 A diversified service portfolio leaves nothing to be desired Terminal services One transshipment terminal in Kassel with an overall capacity of 50,000 TEU We support you with agency services, storage of containers and with supplying transport information We also have terminal cooperations outside of Germany, i. e. in Enns (A) Factory logistics For VW we offer transport services between the factories in Braunschweig and Wolfsburg We realize the transshipment of containers at the factory site as well as in the transshipment terminal in Braunschweig and we also deliver containers to the factory sites via truck 7
