6 Das Unternehmen The Company Die Schulte-Schlagbaum AG gegründet 1833 und Aktiengesellschaft seit 1897 ist ein konzernunabhängiges mittelständisches Unternehmen. SAG entwickelt, produziert und vermarktet national wie international Komponenten, Systemlösungen und Dienstleistungen für die Sicherung, Organisation und das Management von Gebäuden. 10 Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter Employees Die Zahl der Beschäftigten im Konzern (durchschnittliche Leistungszahl inklusive Leasingpersonal) hat sich wie folgt entwickelt: SAG: STS (inklusive KEWA): eccos pro: novacom: EDV-Service Schaupp: Die Ausbildungsquote in unserem Betrieb ist unverändert hoch und beträgt 13,9 % in der AG und 9,4 % im Konzern. Erfreulicherweise können wir wieder berichten, vakante Positionen weiterhin zu einem erheblichen Teil mit leistungsfähigen und leistungsbereiten Personen aus der eigenen Ausbildung besetzen zu können. 12 Geschäftsbereich Schließsysteme für Türen und Möbel Locking Systems for Doors and Furniture Business Division Der Geschäftsbereich Schließsysteme für Türen und Möbel entwickelt, produziert und vermarktet im In- und Ausland elektronische Tür- und Möbelschließsystem (SAFE-O-TRONIC access DS und LS) sowie mechanische Schrankverschlüsse rund um das weltweit bekannte Leitprodukt SAFE-O-MAT. Der SAFE-O-MAT Pfandwertverschluss ist ein renommiertes Qualitätsprodukt, das seit Jahrzehnten weltweit mit großem Erfolg vertrieben wird, jedoch zunehmend durch Billig- Plagiate oder durch Elektroniksysteme substituiert wird. Mit einer Premium-Strategie steuern wir dagegen, während wir beim Ersatz durch elektronische RFID- und PIN-Code-Systeme selbst aktiv die Rolle als Treiber eingenommen haben und weiter verstärken werden. * Die SAFE-O- Produktfamilie wird über OEM-Partner und Systemhäuser, Fachhändler sowie im Systemgeschäft auch direkt vertrieben. Im Export streben wir die Zusammenarbeit mit definierten Partnern an, um neue Märkte zu erschließen. For export we are striving for cooperation with selected partners in order to open up new markets. In the area of electronic locks we will ensure that these locking systems can be integrated into SAG and external systems today and in the future due to open system architecture. 10

14 Geschäftsbereich Schloss- und Schließblechsysteme Mortice Lock Case- and Striking Plate Systems Business Division Die im Geschäftsbereich Schloss- und Schließblechsysteme entwickelten Produkte werden über OEM- und Handelspartner im In- und Ausland vertrieben. Wir legen hierbei den Schwerpunkt auf die Entwicklung und Vermarktung von Mengenprodukten und haben mit dieser Strategie in Deutschland eine herausragende Marktposition erreicht, die es zu verteidigen und auszubauen gilt. Im Handelsgeschäft konzentrieren wir uns auf umsatzstarke Partner, die den Bedarf von Klein- und Kleinstkunden bündeln. Unser Handelssortiment unterliegt einer permanenten Optimierung nach Margen- bzw. Ertragsgesichtspunkten. Entwicklung und Konstruktion orientieren sich an Kundennutzen und optimierten Prozessen sowohl in unserer Produktion als auch beim Kundeneinsatz. Grundsätzlich gilt für alle Bereiche die Einhaltung der zugesagten Produkt-, Liefer- und Prozessqualität als bindend. Benchmarks sind die Anforderungen der Automobilindustrie. Die Leistungsfähigkeit der Mitarbeiter auch für den Führungskreis erlebbar zu machen, war unter dem Schlagwort Perspektivwechsel 2011 ein Thema auf der Agenda des jährlichen Managementmeetings der Führungskräfte. In Teams eingeteilt, wurden nach kurzer Einweisung und Sicherheitsbelehrung an den Fertigungseinrichtungen des Werkes in Velbert Schlösser gefertigt eine Erfahrung, die die Mitglieder des Führungskreises nachhaltig beeindruckt hat. Die drei Systemhäuser bilden gemeinsam den Geschäftsbereich Gästemanagement-Systeme und die Serviceorganisation der Schulte-Schlagbaum AG. eccos pro gmbh Die eccos pro gmbh ist im Segment der Gästemanagement-Systeme in der Freizeitindustrie und Hotellerie tätig. Durch am Kundenbedürfnis orientierte Marktbearbeitung wird die führende Position im Bereich der großen Freizeitbäder und Thermen gehalten und ausgebaut, ohne dabei den Bereich der kleinen und vollautomatischen Systeme aus dem Fokus zu verlieren. Das jährlich stattfindende Anwendertreffen hat sich zu einem bekannten nationalen Branchenevent entwickelt.
