4 These mounting instructions are applicable to different variants of Leine & Linde s Compact Robust Gateway. Different gateway interfaces are available according to the list. In this document you find instructions general for all gateway types, as well as specific instructions for certain interfaces. Make sure the machine is at a standstill. 1.2 Gateways with Optolink output are designed to be class 1 LED products when used with fibers of core diameter up to 100 µm class 3R LED products when used with fibers of core diameter of 200 µm. 5 2 2.1) The product is a precision measuring instrument. It should be handled with care, by experienced personnel. The warnings below apply in the event of effects outside the limit values stated in the product s data sheet. Strip the cable according to the dimensions in the illustration. Step 2. Open the box and unscrew the cable bushing. Step 3. Fold the cable shield backwards over the shell ring. Step 4. Connect the wires according to the product label. Insulate any wire that is not being used. Tighten all terminal screws (including any unused ones). * Does not apply to models with pre-installed cable or connector. 电气安装 3) Die elektrische Montage des Kabels*: Schritt 1. 7 4 Check points for electrical mounting 4.1) 4.2) L < Lmax > 200 mm > 100 mm > 100 mm 4.1 Use a shielded twisted-pair cable. The shielding must be connected to the chassis at both ends and be earthed at one point. 4.2 Keep potential sources of disturbance at the recommended distance from the cable. Make sure that the length of the cable does not exceed the value specified in the product data sheet. 4.3 Ensure that the cable s bending radius exceeds the permitted minimum value. 4.4 Treat all wires as live. 12 6 PROFIBUS CANopen Termination Terminierung 6.12) 6.13) Termination shall be made if the actual unit is the end node of the bus. Other units shall not have termination. For units with M12 connectors the termination is made by plugging a terminating resistor to the empty bus out connector (accessory to be ordered separately, see 6.12). For units with cable glands the termination is made by setting the switch (6.11) to on. Andere Einheiten benötigen keine Terminierung. Bei Einheiten mit M12-Anschlüssen erfolgt die Terminierung durch Einsetzen eines Abschlusswiderstands in die Leerbuchse für den Busausgang (Zubehör ist separat zu bestellen, vgl. 6.12). Bei Einheiten mit Kabeldurchführungen erfolgt die Terminierung durch Stellen des Schalters auf On (6.11). Die leere Kabeldurchführung für den Busausgang sollte mit einem M16-Blindstopfen abgedichtet werden (separat erhältlich, vgl. 6.13). Certificates and documentation may be provided upon request to your local Leine & Linde representative UL/CSA standards, type approval Most Leine & Linde products have been type tested in accordance with IEC The product box label states if the product conforms to the standard. When the product is to be operated in accordance with IEC , the power must be supplied from a secondary circuit with current or power limitation as per IEC :2001, section 9.3, IEC :2005, or by a class 2 secondary circuit as specified in UL CE marking and Declaration of conformity Most Leine & Linde products conform to the protection requirements of Council Directive 2004/108/EC related to EMC when applicable. Instructions in these mounting instructions apply to products from Leine & Linde, not for the system as a whole. If products are used in a way for which they are not intended, this is at the user s own risk.
