12 Novel nanomatrices and nanocapsules (NMP ) Specific challenge: Scope: nanotechnology and novel tools for a new type of nanomatrices and nanocapsules for targeted delivery and carrying payloads for localised action in many application fields safe, controlled and reliable novel nanomatrices and -capsules containing active ingredients novel mechanisms for the release of the payload TRL 4-5; cross-ket activity Expected impact: Type of action: radical improvements in therapy and/or quality of life Benefit European healthcare and/or consumer sectors Paving the way for the future commercialisation Identification of gaps in standards Innovation Actions (70% funding)

13 Additive manufacturing for table-top nanofactories (NMP ) Specific challenge: Scope: potential to manufacture individual products anywhere in the world, and to customise each of them send design blueprints instantaneously via the internet, and manufacture them when and where they are needed new techniques and nanomaterials advance the state-of-the art of AM materials through modification of fundamental material properties using nanotechnology and develop novel additive manufacturing techniques that incorporate new functionalities and/or significant performance increase e. g. Impact The extent to which the outputs of the project could contribute at the European and/or International level The expected impacts listed in the work programme under the relevant topic; Soundness of the business cases and business plans and commitment to first exploitation / manufacturing; Evidence of the market potential and of the competitive technology advantage that will be gained through the pilot line; Potential of creating jobs in Europe;
