1 Application for a DAAD Final Year Scholarship for International Students Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria in order to apply for a Final year Scholarship: They should certify that they are finishing their study within 12 months after application. Master applicants must have completed all their lecture classes and be in the process of writing the master thesis within the next three months. They must demonstrate good academic achievements. They must be financing their studies themselves If an applicant fulfills the basic application criteria according to 8 of the BAföG law (Federal Training Assistance Act), he / she will not be eligible for this Final Year scholarship according to the regulations. This is independent of whether you actually receive funding from BAföG or not.
