Term 6 N/A study leave Independent study Throughout the year, there will be one lesson a week of independent study, where they will be working from A2 Reading and Listening texts (Authenthik), called zusätzliche Arbeit, which will be monitored by the assistant, as well as doing own materials and discussions. Students also have Personalised Learning Checklists to monitor progress and areas to improve. Assistant There will be one lesson a week with the assistant. Independent study will be monitored and assessed, extended upon, and discussions carried out. The assistant will also use Topic 12 of the textbook Literatur, Kunst und Musik to further cultural awareness. There will be 8 hours a fortnight of teaching with teacher 1 (5 hours) and teacher 2 (3 hours). 3
