4 REGISTRIERUNG Jeder Athlet erhält: Beutel für Eigenverpflegung Startnummer Aufkleber für den Fahrradhelm (1) Aufkleber für das Fahrrad (2) Aufkleber für die Wechselbeutel (3) Athletenband Abholung am Info-Point in der Wechselzone am Sonntagmorgen! Die Beutel werden zur ersten Verpflegungsstelle auf der Radstrecke, sowie zur Wasserstation auf der Laufstrecke transportiert. Nicht benutzte Beutel werden entsorgt! 10 BIKE CHECK-IN! WEAR THE WRISTBAND The Race Chip will be handed out after Bike Check-In in the Transition Area by showing the athletes wristband. Wear the Race Chip on the left ankle! After the Race: Bikes will be returned against the chip. 10

13 BIKE CHECK-IN TRANSITION RULES The ground has to be kept clear. No equipment on the ground! 14 RADABGABE Es darf am Platz des Fahrrads nichts auf dem Boden liegen! Radschuhe: entweder am Pedal eingeklickt, oder im blauen Beutel. Fahrradhelm + Startnummer + Sonnenbrille: alles auf dem Rad oder im Blauen Beutel. Alle weiteren Utensilien müssen im Blauen Beutel sein. 14

17 WETTER Wir werden das Wetter am Renntag beobachten. Bei zu extremer Witterung behalten wir uns das Recht vor jeden Teil des Rennens abzusagen, zu verändern oder zu kürzen falls die Sicherheit für die Athleten nicht gewährleistet werden kann. 17

19 ROLLING Run START Athletes will line up according to their realistic predicted run time and every five seconds, we will send out 3 to 4 athletes. It will take approximately 1 hour to get the entire field across the start line PLEASE BE HONEST TO YOURSELF AND LINE UP ACCORDING TO YOUR REALISTIC EXPECTED run TIME! This is the only way to guarantee a smooth and secure flow ensuring equal opportunities for all athletes! 19

20 ROLLING RUN START Die Athleten platzieren sich anhand ihrer geschätzten Laufzeiten im Vorstart-bereich; alle fü nf Sekunden werden 3 bis 4 Athleten auf ihr IRONMAN-Abenteuer geschickt. Es wird ungefähr 1 Stunde dauern, bis alle Athleten gestartet sind. BITTE SEI EHRLICH ZU DIR SELBST UND REIHE DICH ENTSPRECHEND DEINER REALISTISCHEN GESCHÄTZTEN LAUFZEIT EIN! Nur so kann ein reibungsloser und vor allem sicherer Ablauf mit Chancengleichheit für alle Athleten gewährleistet werden!

26 AID STATIONS BIKE The Bike Course provides four fully equipped aid stations per lap. All Aid Stations have the same setup Water, Enervit ISOTONIC DRINK (Orange) and Coca Cola (diluted with water), all in sport bottles of 750 ml. Enervit Sport COMPETITION BAR (Apricot and Orange), Enervit Sport GEL Orange and halved bananas Additionally, there will be two water stations along the Bike course providing water 26

27 RULES 2018 Yellow Card: 01:00 min time penalty Blue Card: 05:00 min Penalty (for each card 05:00 min!) Red Card: Disqualification (DSQ) you are allowed to continue and finish the race, but it won t be in the result list! The accumulation of three cards, no matter which colour will result in a disqualification. NO STOP IN PENALTY BOX DISQUALIFICATION 27

35 RUN COURSE 42,2km Ahletes will recieve a coloured wristband in every loop Altogether there are 4 loops 5 Aid Stations! NO PENALTY BOXES ON THE RUN COURSE! ATHLETES HAVE TO STOP IMMEDIATELY FOR 1 MINUTE! 35

39 REGELN 2018 / Laufen Abkürzen ROTE KARTE Öffentliches Urinieren Absichtliches Müll entsorgen außerhalb der Verpflegungsstationen Benutzen von Kommunikationsoder Unterhaltungsmedien Hilfe von Außen GELBE KARTE Trainer betritt die Rennstrecle Mitlaufen der Trainer auf der Strecke Begleitung der Athleten Um Strafen zu entgehen: Aufnahme von Eigenverpflegung nur aus dem offiziellen Special Need Bereich medizinische Hilfe nur vom offiziellen medizinischem Team (außer Diabetiker) 39

40 SUMMARY OF CUT OFF TIMES Bike (lap 1) 6 hours after respective start. Latest: 01:15 pm. Bike (lap 2) 10 hours after respective start (both laps). Latest: 05:00 pm. Run 14 hours 50 minutes after respective start. Latest: 11:00 pm at the Finish Line. We will reserve the right to remove an athlete from the course and DNF the athlete if our course staff determines that there is no possibility of your finishing the discipline or race before the posted cut-off times based on your location, the time and average speed to that point. 40

41 ZEITLIMITS Rad (Runde 1) 6 Stunden nach dem jeweiligen Start. Spätestens: 13:15 Uhr. Rad (Runde 2) 10 Stunden nach dem jeweiligen Start (beide Runden). Spätestens: 17:00 Uhr. Laufen 14:50 Stunden nach dem jeweiligen Start. Spätestens: 23:00Uhr an der Ziellinie. Wir behalten uns das Recht vor, Athleten von der Strecke zu nehmen, wenn unsere Schiedsrichter der Meinung sind, dass keine Möglichkeit mehr besteht, die Disziplin innerhalb des geforderten Zeitlimits zu beenden wird (ausgehend von der Lokalisierung, der Zeit und der Durchschnittsgeschwindigkeit zu diesem Zeitpunkt). 41

42 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION QUITTING THE RACE If you stop the race and quit, you have to inform a referee, officials or stop by the information point at the Transition Area! Lost and Found Put your number and name on all your equipment. Personal belongings which are unmarked or have been left in the Transition Areas can be picked up the day after the race, from 10:00 am to 02:00 pm at the Awards Ceremony. 42

43 VORZEITIGES BEENDEN DES RENNENS Wichtig: Solltet Ihr das Rennen vorzeitig beenden müssen, ist es zwingend notwendig, einen Schiedsrichter oder Funktionär zu informieren, oder sich in der Wechselzone zu melden. Lost and Found Notiere möglichst deine Startnummer und Namen auf deinem Equipment Persönliche Gegenstände die nicht zugeordnet werden können, können am Montag beim Award Banquet zwischen 10 und 14 Uhr abgeholt werden. 43

44 FINISH LINE PROCEDURE No family, friends or pets are allowed to cross the finish line Disqualification Your medal will be handed out to you at the finish line You receive your finisher shirts at the Athletes Garden, showing your race number! You will have the possibility of printing your Finisher Shirt There will be the possibility to engrave your medals at the Athletes Garden Athletes Garden offers showers, changing rooms and medical support 44

45 ZIELEINLAUF Es ist untersagt, mit Begleitpersonen den Zielkan al zu betreten oder die Ziellinie zu überqueren. Disqualifikation Ihr bekommt eure Medaille umgehängt. Eure Finisher Shirts bekommt ihr im Athletes Garden, Startnummer mitbringen! Ihr habt die Möglichkeit, eure Finisher Shirt bedrucken zu lassen b Für die Medaillen wird im Athletes Garden ein Gravur-Service angeboten. Weiterhin befinden sich im Athletes Garden Duschen, Umkleiden und unser Medical Team. 45

48 AWARDS CEREMONY The Awards Ceremony for the IRONMAN Hamburg takes place on Monday after the race from 11:00pm till 12:00pm at the Mehr! Theater am Großmarkt. Trophies and prizes are handed out personally only; Trophies and prizes which have not been picked up will expire The entry fee for the IRONMAN Hamburg includes entry to the Awards Ceremony ; addition guest tickets will be available for sale at the entrance of the Party area 48

49 AWARDS CEREMONY / SLOT ALLOCATION The IRONMAN Hamburg provides 40 slots for the IRONMAN World Championship in Hawaii 2018 The Slot Allocation takes places after the Awards Ceremony All athletes who wish to make use of their qualification slots have to be present at the Slot Allocation Entry fee for Hawaii 2018 is $950 US-Dollar Plus 8% active.com registration fee Only credit card accepted Picture ID is mandatory 49

50 SIEGEREHRUNG Der IRONMAN Hamburg vergibt 40 Startplätze für die IRONMAN Weltmeisterschaften 2018 auf Hawaii. Die Startplatzvergabe findet im Anschluss an die Siegerehrung statt Alle Athleten, die ihren Qualifikationsplatz in Anspruch nehmen möchten, müssen bei der Startplatz-vergabe persönlich anwesend sein.
